“What a wonderful restaurant serving authentic Somali food. The food is delicious, hearty and comes with generous portions. Upon arrival we were served complimentary soup which was full of flavour and delicious. For starters, we got the meat samosas which were packed with flavourful delicious meat. The spicy sauces definitely complimented them. For mains we had the platter which came with a few meat options and served with both rice and pasta along with salad etc The lamb shank is full of flavour and highly recommended. For dessert the date cake is highly recommended! Very delicious especially paired with the tea. The staff were very welcoming and friendly! Overall a fantastic dining experience and would come back.”

“Wow. Where does one begin the story? I walked in feeling hungry and I left feeling not only full but my stomach signalling joy to me. My debut trying Somali cuisine and it won’t be my only appearance. After being introduced to the cuisine and recommendations, the food came out fresh. It could be seen that each and every single element on that plate had been handled with thought, care and gratitude. From the tender lamb, to even the rice, which was immensely flavoured, the whole meal was an unforgettable experience. I will be returning”

“I walked 90 kilometres through all of Greater London. I started walking at 5:30AM west of Heathrow airport and it took me 25 kilometres until 11:AM until I arrived here. I didn’t want to eat anything anywhere else because I wanted to eat here. And I have to say that was the culinary highlight of my two day walk. The food was amazing, and the manager was so friendly. We had a nice conversation and he gave me the samosas to try on the house. I would love to come back again and try more of the delicious Somali food.”

“What an amazing first time Somalian food experience @ Sabib in Acton Town High Street. The food platter for sharing is worth every penny they charge for it and the service is world class, too. They've apparently got a branch in Harringey Green Lane. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys trying new cuisines👍🏻”
