About Avanti Chiswick
Avanti Chiswick is a tapas restaurant in London at 4 Bedford Corner, with dark wood furnishings inside and covered, heated decking strung with fairy lights where dogs are welcome. The menu spans tapas, paella and pizzas, with croquetas de jamon among the small plates. Paella negra is one of the rice dishes, and a double portion for two makes it easy to share. Wines are served alongside the food. The dining room can seat large groups, and reservations are required. Dessert includes a tiramisu made fresh each day, finished with vanilla pod specks.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the covered outdoor area, described as heated, with decking, fairy lights and plants, and open to dogs, which several say suits any weather. Among the food, diners single out the still sizzling aubergine starter, crunchy croquetas de jamon, the paella negra and a tiramisu with visible vanilla pod specks. Several describe generous portions and good value. One reviewer suggests ordering the double portion of paella, since it has more seafood and looks fuller. A party of 18 praised staff who suggested dishes and quantities beforehand. Complaints are fewer but specific. One first-time order brought a bright orange, tasteless paella and calamari that seemed fridge cold, and another diner felt pushed after being asked three times about tapas despite declining. Several say they plan to return, and one rebooked straight away.

“We had a fantastic birthday celebration at Avanti Chiswick where they hosted my party of 18, inside the restaurant. The staff were very helpful, suggesting dishes and quantities to order as well as organisation running up to the night. We had the table for the whole night and ordered a selection of vege, seafood and meat tapas and pizzas. The food is excellent value for money, extensive menu and all very tasty. The whole team were amazing but a big shout out to Diana, Patricia and Giuseppe for ensuring the night ran smoothly with fantastic food and service!”

“Agree with all positive reviews. This restaurant serves delicious food, and wine, with generous portions, and good price. Croquetas de jamon was crunchy outside, soft inside, and so yummy. The staffs were attentive, and friendly. Seating areas are available indoor, and outdoor. Toilet for customers is available.”

“One of my favourite restaurants! Great food at great prices. I love sitting in their outdoor area which is heated and covered so is good no matter the weather. You can also bring dogs to the outdoor part and it’s nice and pretty with fairy lights and plants”

“I love it when food is hearty, wholesome and just simply delicious. The still sizzling aubergine starter dish (like a parmigiana) was the best - hot , fresh and flavourful. My friend enjoyed her prawn salad v much (and she has a v discerning palate). My paella was nice - though I think if you order it best to go for a double/ 2 person portion as there’s more seafood and just looks more paella-ish and generous - it’s a dish for sharing really. And the tiramisu - lip smackingly good and loving the presentation. And can you see all the vanilla pod specks?! Quality and made fresh that day. Yum! Definitely going again. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service with outside area too.”
