  “Very disappointing experience. We paid £70 entry for two people expecting an upscale venue and crowd, but Tabu was nothing like advertised. The place had a strong mouldy smell, the atmosphere felt rundown, and the crowd was far from upscale. We were so uncomfortable that we walked out almost immediately. Charging £35 per person for that experience is unacceptable. A complete waste of £70—I would not recommend this place.”

  “So this staff is very friendly and polite! Amazing but asked to pay a big sum to get in. And then the place was empty! Meaning we had to drink just because… The music was not great, so the mood was very strange. Sorry”

  “After having waited for ages without knowing how much I would have needed to pay as the security didn't know and nothing on the website is written. I queued. Eryn asked me if I was on the guestlist. I mentioned that two friend of mine were already in. She said to text them. So I did. After my friend came outside, not only she wasn't on any list (so the business got fooled by my friends, probably because they are two gorgeous women and I am a man on my own), Eryn told me only then that my outfit was not up to the standards required. She could see how I was dressed up before my friend could come outside. Why did Eryn make me waisting time? She could have told me immediately that my outfit was not up to their standards. This was utterly unprofessional and ridiculous. I wasted my time because no one knew how much I had to pay for a single entrance for the disco, and I wasted time for Eryn's severe lack of professionalism. Accuracy and timing should be treated as crucial in these situations.”

  “Had an amazing night at Tabu London! The atmosphere and vibes were unreal from start to finish. Great music, energetic crowd, and the whole place has such a stylish and fun feel to it. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the drinks were great too.”

  “Absolute scam of a place. We paid £70 cash for entry for me and my girlfriend. After going inside for literally a moment, we decided it wasn’t for us and asked for a refund. Even the security guard agreed it should be fine. Then suddenly the girl at the till shouted “THEY PAID CASH!” to another staff member, and after that we were told refunds were impossible. Very suspicious behaviour — it honestly felt like the cash went straight into someone’s pocket. Unprofessional staff, dishonest service, and zero customer care. Avoid this place unless you want to lose your money.”

I would like to give a special thank you to the security team, both inside and outside – they were absolutely outstanding, so attentive, professional and caring. They made me feel safe and comfortable the whole night. Also, a big thank you to all the staff, who were equally friendly and efficient. Everything was perfect. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you”

  “The only reason why our service was good was because we were on the guest list. If we weren’t, we would’ve paid £20 per person entrance fee and pay for drinks and the cloak room. It’s exclusive so everyone is very posh. What ruined the experience was the moment my friend seemed too drunk so she needed a second to stand outside, the bouncer that was checking up on her kept saying five minutes every time she checked in. It was clear we weren’t getting in from the beginning so why keep us outside with no coats, in 4° weather while we’re in miniskirts? Not to mention the bounces clearly we’re making snarky remarks about how we couldn’t get back into the club that they were not letting us into. It’s not worth the price just get VIP at a well-known club. Shout out to the Aunty in the bathroom, just her job xx”

  “We went to Tabu around 11 PM and honestly, it was a very disappointing experience. The music was terrible, and the DJ really didn’t know how to create a good vibe. The crowd was extremely young, which made the atmosphere feel quite uncomfortable. We paid £70 entry for two people, plus an extra £5 just to leave our coats, which already felt overpriced for what we got. The space itself was very small and cramped. The staff didn’t seem welcoming at all — it felt like they were only focused on taking money, with no real effort to make guests feel comfortable or explain anything. We stayed for only 30 minutes before leaving because it just wasn’t worth it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.”

  “Not your typical japanese restaurant. More an upmarket club lounge with stylish deco and delicious food. The circular white marble tables compliment the soft creams, browns and pinks with dimmed and recessed lights and ceiling mirrors. Food: very good flavours and textures, good portions, attention to detail and presentation. Starter of yellowtail carpaccio, delicious. Also broccoli with goma dressing very good. The sashimi selection and prawn tempura sushi were excellent and the salmon teriyaki from the grill was perfectly cooked and very tasty as well. Mochi was a fitting end to a very good meal. The staff are great and the service is very good. Special mention to Michelle, who was superb, and my waiter on the night, Anas, very friendly and professional. Nice concept: it is a different experience. 2 issues though: the house music seems to get louder as the evening progresses, difficult to mantain a conversation. Good for groups but definitely not for a romantic candlelight dinner. Pity, because the deco is very pleasing. Also, as I was leaving, the attitude from security at the door was very poor, one gentleman in particular. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that it is also a night club, but had I been met with such appaling attitude on my arrival I would have turned round and never come back! Overall, a nice concept, very good food and service and works as a different experience. But it is let down by the choice and volume of the music and very poor attitude of some members of security at the door.”
