About CoCo Nails Club
On Blandford Street in the Marylebone area of London, CoCo Nails Club takes appointments for manicures and pedicures, which can be booked together in a single visit. Gel work covers full sets, with old gel removed before a new one goes on, and acrylics are done alongside infills for grown-out nails. Colour comes from the salon's own shade selection, chosen at the start of the appointment. Pedicures are carried out with the feet in a foot bath, and a drying lamp finishes the nails off. The salon opens daily and runs on advance bookings, though last minute slots are sometimes fitted in.

“Coco Nails Club I was looking for Beauty By Imane when I happened on Coco Nail Club—both are in the same building, with Coco Nail Club at street level and Imane's beauty spa downstairs. Prior to my second visit to Imane’s spa, I asked her to book a manicure and pedicure appointment with Coco Nails, so that I could have my beauty treatment, pedicure, and manicure done in one place. Unlike Imane, Coco Nails was a huge disappointment, and they will not be getting a repeat visit. They clearly do not share the same standards of care or client appreciation. On the day of my appointment, I came upstairs after I was done with my spa treatment, and waited almost five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I explained I've a pedicure and manicure appointment booked by Imane. I was told to wait. When I was finally seated and asked to choose a colour, their selection of greens amounted to two options. I should have left then. I didn't, because they had set aside the time for me. Little did I know the worst was yet to come. Without asking what I wanted done, the manicurist hurriedly removed the old gel nails. Once finished, she told me to go to the pedicurist. No sooner were my feet in the foot bath than the manicurist reappeared with a pillow and placed it across my lap, without asking I was ok with that. Next, she fetched the drying lamp and placed it on top of the pillow, again without asking me. Following which she said to me, 'We are going to do your feet and nails at the same time because it's faster." Faster for whom? The appointment was booked a week in advance. It felt as though I was being cleared before the next client arrived. A beauty treatment is supposed to be a relaxing self-care moment. This was neither relaxing nor comfortable. With one person working on my feet and another on my nails, I had one foot on tiptoes—to support the pillow and the drying lap on my lap to keep both from sliding off—while the other was being cared for. When the next client walked in. She was greeted by name and told to sit down; she replied warmly that she was in no rush. It changed nothing for me. I paid £65 for a pedicure I received while on tiptoes, and £45 for a manicure performed on my lap, without anyone asking whether that was acceptable to me. My thinking is, if my money was good enough for Coco Nail Club, I deserve the same respect as any other client.”

“The guy seemed unbothered and didn’t care, he made my natural nails far too short, I don’t think he understood what I was saying, my natural nails were very long, they even thought it was acrylics and I said ‘a little bit shorter’ he took it all the way down, he also didn’t help me find the shade I wanted. I showed him a basic neutral nude gel picture and he kept showing me pinks, or dull pinks. Ended up just going with a transparent colour. Looks like there is nothing on my nails. I also came to do a manicure, and all my cuticles are out/ dry and it’s been two days. If you want to get your nails done please work with someone who can understand what you are trying to say because that one guys had no idea what I was saying. I came previously and the lady was so good and nice she understood what I wanted, but be careful who does your nails because some can’t be bothered or care, it was a nice service then but this time will be my last.”

“Went on Sunday to go and get infills and on Tuesday they chipped. I’m not being funny if I paid £65 for infills I don’t expect them to chip 48 hours later… The people were lovely though it was a sad message to take away from this nail salon.”

Customer Review Summary
Manicures anchor most of the praise here, with regulars describing detail heavy work, staff who take their time rather than rush, and nails that draw compliments afterward. Close behind are the acrylics and BIAB sets, called quality and consistent, and pedicures that reviewers say leave feet soft and clean. A few mention nail art, and one was very happy with the deluxe mani and pedi, singling out the massage portion. Several call the salon spotlessly clean and welcoming, and one notes being fitted in last minute. The criticism is substantial and specific. One reviewer describes a booked mani and pedi done simultaneously to save time, with a pillow and drying lamp balanced on her lap while she sat with one foot on tiptoes, and a colour range offering only two greens. Another says a technician cut natural nails far shorter than asked, misread the requested nude shade and left cuticles dry two days on, though an earlier visit with a different technician went well. One reports infills chipping within two days despite friendly staff, and one alleges filing that caused burning and required a doctor, along with hygiene concerns.
