“I booked an appointment three days in advance for acrylic nails and a shellac pedicure and brows. Upon arrival, I requested a simple ombré design, only to be told that they do not offer powder ombré. I was given the option to either choose something else or go to another salon. As I didn't have time to find an alternative, I decided to proceed with a basic colour instead. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve. During the acrylic application, I pointed out that I was unhappy with one of the nails. In an attempt to fix it, the technician added more acrylic, which left the nail uneven. When I raised the issue again, I was assured that it would look better once the polish was applied, but the unevenness remained clearly visible. The shellac pedicure, which cost £40, felt very rushed and lacked the level of care and attention I would expect for that price. Overall, the salon seemed busy, and the focus appeared to be on getting clients through as quickly as possible rather than delivering quality service. In total, I paid £85 for approximately one hour of service for acrylic nails and a shellac pedicure. While I also had brow threading and tinting done, and have no complaints about that service, I was disappointed with the nail treatments and did not feel they offered good value for money.”
