Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the Roman-style pizza, describing a thin, crispy, light base, a rich basil sauce and a huge size, with the Margherita singled out and one reviewer calling it the best Roman pizza in London. Close behind are the fresh pastas: the gnocchi, mushroom risotto, ragù and tagliolini al nero di seppia with mussels draw repeated praise, and portions come up as big. A few mention gluten free pizza, mini calzoni and the specials. The family running the place from Bologna is described as welcoming and unhurried, and several note the staff catering to questions and needs. The only lukewarm note is one reviewer calling the garlic bread just ok, and another saw few other diners at a late lunch. Multiple reviewers end the meal with free shots of limoncello and meloncello, and one was offered a digestif alongside an espresso.

“My partner and I were pleasantly surprised. Got the gnocchi and a pizza. Bother were amazing. We were a little unsure when we walked by but decided to give it a shot. My partner said it’s his new favorite restaurant on Stoke Newington Road and I agree. It’s a great spot. Huge cracker style crust pizza and a very satisfying gnocchi indeed.”

“Amazing pizza, genuinely one of the best in London. At La Rosetta N16 I had a classic Margherita with a cold Birra Moretti and it was excellent. The Roman-style base was thin, crispy, light and full of flavour, with a rich sauce infused with basil. Easy to finish without feeling heavy, unlike doughier Neapolitan pizzas. I’ve tried pizza across London, New York and New Haven, and this is right up there. Service was warm, the vibe relaxed, and the owner even offered limoncello and melon digestif with my espresso. I read the family story behind the restaurant and was very inspiring. I’m already planning to return with my dad. A real gem. Highly recommended.”
