Customer Review Summary
Brunch and breakfast plates draw the most praise, especially a vegetarian pancake with smashed avocado, a poached egg, a hash brown and fried mushrooms, and a breakfast wrap with bacon and avocado. Close behind are the drinks and sweets. Reviewers single out the matcha, a carrot cake one calls the best in the area, a Fuel Boost smoothie of avocado, mango and ginger, a juice one diner was still thinking about months later, and chai latte and karak chai alongside homemade pastries. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly, welcoming and attentive. One reviewer with autism describes them as patient through countless menu questions and willing to prepare a dish with minimal avocado. Others describe the interior as relaxed and calm, and one notes the conversion of a former bank. Complaints are small: wobbly tables, ginger that was a bit much in the smoothie for one drinker, and fruit desserts containing fish gelatine, which kept one reviewer from trying them. Late arrivals describe warm welcomes while staff were cleaning up, and one party was offered the cafe staying open just for them.

“Stopped by for a hot drink and sweet treat with a friend yesterday and we were pleased we did. The staff were welcoming and helped with recommendations while we tried to choose between the selection of sweet treats (they all looked so good). The street outside was pretty busy but inside was relaxed and calm- a lovely place to stop and catch up with a friend. Friendly and helpful staff, a good choice of drinks and sweet treats, a calm ambience and modern decor. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area.”

“Lovely place right next to the station with plenty of choice for drinks and food. We stopped by to get some teas - chai latte and karak chai -, accompanied by some recommended pastries all of which are homemade! They tasted great and the staff were also very friendly. Would definitely return.”

“I absolutely love coming to Naya. The matcha they make here is amazing—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. And when it comes to desserts, their carrot cake is hands down the best in the entire area. Their breakfasts are incredible, always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. But what truly makes this place special is the service: Samy and Lara are simply outstanding. From the moment you walk in, they greet you with the biggest smiles and make you feel right at home. Highly recommended café—both the food and the service are absolutely top-notch. It’s always a pleasure to come back!”

“Around 5:00 pm after a busy day, my good friend and I decided to give Naya Cafe a try. We initially planned to grab a quick coffee, but the place was so welcoming that we ended up staying for a full meal. The Atmosphere: The décor, ambient feel, and overall atmosphere were incredibly inviting and relaxing. It was the absolute perfect setting for a long chat. Food & Drink: Our meals were fantastic. We also tried a smoothie called 'Fuel Boost', which blends avocado, mango, and ginger. It was super healthy; my friend absolutely loved the taste, and while the ginger was a bit much for me, I still really enjoyed it. For my meal, I opted for the vegetarian pancake, which came with 3 or 4 pancakes, smashed avocado, a poached egg, an exquisite hash brown, and fried mushrooms—all fresh and super delicious. I loved every bite, and I am sure a non-vegetarian (as I am) would enjoy it just as much. The cafe clearly caters to a wide range of tastes; my friend had the Breakfast Wrap, which included bacon, smashed avocado, a poached egg, and a hash brown, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Athman, the chef deserved 5 stars his creations. The Service: The staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly. Lara and Hanan made us feel right at home with their attentive service, which truly enhanced our experience. After our long chat over the meal, I was finally ready for coffee and a slice of their amazing-looking cake. However, my friend noticed it was getting quite close to closing time. In a truly grand gesture, the cafe owner, Mokhtar, generously offered to keep the cafe open just for us! We appreciated it, but decided to leave the coffee and cake treat on hold for another time. My friend suggested we take the cakes and coffee away to enjoy in the car, but I told her the cakes looked too beautiful to munch in the car. I definitely have some 'unfinished business' with Naya Cafe and will absolutely be visiting again to sample more from their tempting menu, and I must try that cake. I highly recommend this cafe!”
