About Lotus Bar
On Clapham High Street, Lotus Bar pairs an Italian menu with cocktails and a nightclub atmosphere that runs into the evening. The kitchen offers dishes such as steak and a pepperoni pizza, alongside a drinks list that runs from a Passion Fruit Cocktail to Tequila Shots and red wine, with mocktails available for non-drinkers. A weekly bottomless brunch comes with a food platter, and table service brings food and drinks to guests rather than requiring a walk to the bar. The venue hosts bottle shows and birthday shows, with a DJ playing through the night and games and entertainment advertised for events. The space is small, so it can be hard to move around once busy. A step-free entrance suits visitors with mobility needs, and outdoor seating is available for those who prefer to sit outside. It opens daily, and reservations are recommended.

Customer Review Summary
Cocktails and the bottomless brunch dominate the conversation at Lotus Bar, with reviewers repeatedly calling out bottomless pitchers and the £45 boozie brunch alongside praise for the live entertainment, from a fire breather and grime violinist to themed birthday shows and a DJ. Close behind, several single out specific drinks and dishes, including a mocktail called "got soul," the lamb chops, and sharing platters, while calling the atmosphere and music a highlight worth returning for. Staff and bar service draw consistent warmth, with servers and security frequently described as attentive and welcoming. Complaints recur around food execution and venue upkeep: dry, poorly seasoned chicken wings, an oily pizza, flies noted in the bathroom and near tables, and advertised games or entertainment not materializing after 10pm. A smaller number describe slow food, blocked toilets, and one incident where a meal without its side was later removed abruptly. One reviewer also describes rude management and alleges discriminatory dress-code enforcement at the door. Drink prices draw mixed reactions, called reasonable by some and overpriced by others. Several reviewers mention being taken care of when help was needed, including one recalling staff assisting a wheelchair user to the toilet during a packed night.

“There was no service. We were given our food, and then i had to keep getting our drinks from the bar as the waiters were very focused on the larger table group, but the atmosphere was nice.”

“Really love this place the food n drinks never fail my expectations!! Staff all round are nice and helpful. First time drinking their mocktails and they are delicious, definitely recommend trying the 'got soul' mocktail. The only downside on this occasion was the couple of girls singing and talking so loud u could not enjoy the music and your own conversation... but I guess the 2 4 1 cocktail experience may have been too much for them to handle.”

“Went here for the bottomless boozie brunch costing £45 per person. The food portion was rather small but the food was of a good standard. As we had a sharing platter. The cocktails was amazing freshly made eat time you ordered a drink. Add bonus was had unexpected entertainment a fire breathing Lady and the grime violinist which was so amazing as we wasn't expecting that. The dj was playing some tunes the vibe was great I didnt want to leave. Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful.”

“Thank you Lotus Bar for an excellent bottomless brunch experience. The service was wonderful. The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing and we had a lovely table upstairs. The DJ was brilliant and the vibe was great! Our party had the best time. Special mention - the rum punch was amazing. Fantastic night!!”
