About Oasis
Oasis is a London cafe on Leather Ln, built around gözleme, a flatbread with a spinach, feta and potato filling that is toasted until the outside crisps. The hot food menu also includes a Full English breakfast, which comes with beans in a glass ramekin. Alongside the hot dishes sits a spread of salads, and a build-your-own salad box lets customers choose their own. Wraps are available at lunch, and extra bread can be added to any meal. Coffee, including cappuccino, is on the drinks side. Seating runs to the back of the room. A halal sign is displayed in the window, but not everything on the menu is halal, so ask the team about specific dishes.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to the gözleme, with one praising the spinach, feta and potato version as a lunchtime favourite and another calling it toasted until crispy outside and hot inside. Close behind are the salads, where diners can build their own salad box or pick from a large spread of hot food, and the full English, whose beans arrive hot in a glass dish. Prices come up repeatedly as affordable for the area, and several describe friendly staff who know regulars' tastes and sometimes make off-menu dishes for them. The coffee draws mixed views: one finds the cappuccino nice and the cafe quiet in the morning, while another found the cappuccino small and not cheap, and a third compared the croissant to a supermarket one. One reviewer notes the window says halal but not everything is, so they advise asking. Tables are described as a bit cramped, though a quiet spot at the back suits a calm breakfast. One regular suggests picking up extra bread with a salad box.

“Great for a coffe in the morning as it is quiet empty !. Nice Cappuccino. The 🥐 quality was comparable to Sainsbury's ones.”

“Lovely breakfast, great prices for Ec1, and the ladies look after you. If you like a nice quiet breakfast, you can tuck yourself away at the back and enjoy a really good hot serving. Not many places give you beans that stay hot on the plate, but the beans in the full English were served inside a glass Rankin. 😊 100% recommend”

“A great basic cafe in the old sense off the word. No new fads or exorbitant process. Lovely service with a smile. A rare find these days in trendy pricey London.”

“Pleasant enough staff and interior. Coffee was fine and they take decent covid precautions. Didn't try anything other than a cappuccino which was small and not cheap......”

Thank you for offering me the chance to eat a proper meal at affordable prices!🙂🙏”
