Customer Review Summary

Manicures are what most reviewers center on, and opinion splits sharply. Supportive reviewers, including long-time regulars, describe precise, meticulous work, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a pedicure and manicure finished in an hour by two technicians. The complaints recur in half the reviews and are specific: rushed work, lumpy round nails instead of the almond shape requested, uneven French tips, and bumpy gel with gaps at the cuticle. Two reviewers say their fingers bled during the service, and two describe tools and surfaces that were not wiped between steps. One reviewer reports a technician drilled through a natural nail during acrylic removal, and says it was still painful a month later. Another says that after complaining about the shape, the owner cut the nails off very short. Others single out a technician who handled an emergency repair for a ripped-off nail.

“Many grateful thanks to Leanne who was so helpful and kind when I needed some emergency help for a ripped off nail. Leanne was professional and expert at what she did, and I am extremely happy with my nails. Both my daughter and I have had excellent experiences at this salon”

“I wish I could give 0 stars. I went somewhere else to get my new nails removed. This place was abysmal. With a reference photo, I asked for acrylic with chrome and simple nail art (white polka dots). I came out of the shop crying because my nails have never looked worse. The shape is so lumpy and round all over, which is not at all what I asked for. After asking for the sides to be thinned out, after he asked if the shape was okay, I was bluntly responded with ‘not ready yet’, and yet they were never corrected. The nail art is so tacky. The dots are all different sizes, with different distances from each other. There is no pattern to them. Some aren’t even round! I spoke up about it twice for it to be corrected and then eventually I just had to accept they were going to look bad. During the process, he made two of my fingers bleed, and when he did, he just shook his head, as if it’s my fault my fingers were bleeding. My cuticle bed on my right thumb is puffy and has pus coming out of it. Even after doing so, he didn’t wipe any of the tools or equipment, which is so incredibly unhygienic. It’s really upsetting as it’s the day before my birthday and I wanted to have special nails, as it’s not something I ever do. I’m so disappointed and upset to have spent £48 on nails that I got removed after 2 hours. I wish I could get a refund but knowing the response to these other reviews, I’m not holding my breath. Please do not go here. Not only is it unhygienic, but you will leave with nails that I promise you, you will absolutely not want.”

“I have visited this nail salon previously, and after going today, I am thoroughly impressed with both my nails and the service provided. The gentleman who did my nails was exceptionally meticulous and thorough, completing the work with remarkable precision. I was so relaxed that I nearly dozed off; the service was truly outstanding.”
