  “i got a shellac manicure and pedicure as a walk in and i am LOVINGGGG my nails! the color selection was perfect, the staff was friendly and detail oriented, and the salon was a peaceful and clean environment. my only regret is that i don’t live in london and can’t come back here again 😭. would absolutely recommend!!”

  “I had the most wonderful manicure and pedicure both the guy (who did my hands) and the lovely young girl (my feet) were very lovely and attentive. I thank them very much for their work, and colour suggestions. The massage chair while having a pedicure was also a lovely bonus :) what a lovely way to spend a very needed ‘me’ day. I will be back for sure! Thanks again! X”

  “I was disappointed with my removal appointment. After the product was removed, my nails and cuticles felt very dry. No cuticle oil, hand cream, or aftercare treatment was applied. I was simply told to wash my hands and leave. The removal itself was very bad, you can still see a coat of gel left on my nails. The overall experience did not feel professional or as thorough as I expected. Salon is clean.”

  “New Staff Member – Painful Treatment and Poor Customer Service I have been a regular customer at MK Nails for several months, but unfortunately my experience this evening was extremely disappointing. I booked an appointment for a gel polish removal and manicure, and was treated by a new staff member who was rude throughout the appointment. While removing my gel polish, she used the drill with excessive force, causing my nails to burn and become very painful. Despite asking her four or five times to be more gentle, she continued drilling aggressively into my nail bed. When I raised my concerns, she insisted the pain was due to my nails being damaged. However, I explained that I have never experienced pain during a nail appointment before, and no technician had ever suggested my nails were in poor condition. She also repeatedly claimed that I had BIAB on my nails rather than gel polish, which led to the excessive drilling. I explained that I had received a gel manicure at the same salon only a few weeks earlier, but she continued to insist it was BIAB. After around ten minutes of pain, discomfort, and dismissive comments, I felt I had no choice but to leave the appointment. What made the situation even more disappointing was that the owner did not apologise for the technician’s behaviour, despite me being a loyal customer who has visited regularly for months without any previous issues. Following this experience, I went to Apple Nails around the corner and received excellent service. The difference in professionalism and care was immediately noticeable, and I would highly recommend them instead. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and unfortunately I will not be returning to MK Nails.”

  “Extremely unprofessional experience. The poor management and the owner’s negative attitude are clearly reflected in the subpar quality of work. I have complained several times about the inconsistent results, but it’s evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. Save your money and go elsewhere for better service and reliability. I am adding this because the recent experience was so disappointing. I have been coming here for a year and never had a reason to complain before because I always saw the same girl, and she was great. Since she left, you have changed your staff, and the new team clearly doesn't do the job properly, leading to consistent issues. On top of that, your manner as a manager is completely unprofessional. The energy you bring feels like you don't even want to be there. You should honestly consider a management training course or a change in profession. This remains an extremely unprofessional experience where customer satisfaction is clearly not a priority. "I must clarify that your response is factually incorrect. I visited yesterday as a walk-in client and did not request or book a specific appointment with the owner I was simply asked to wait by one of the staff members before being seen by you. While you did perform my pedicure, the service was conducted with a notably unprofessional attitude. When I later attempted to book a follow-up appointment for my nails, I was refused service simply because I had raised a legitimate concern regarding the experience. If there was an issue with providing a professional standard of service, it should have been addressed before the pedicure began. Your stuff has taken 2h to do my nails as they don’t do it properly, and cut corners . I want to be clear that my one-star rating is not a result of being unreasonable or unfair. It is based purely on the lack of basic customer service, a consistently poor attitude, and the subpar quality of the work performed. Never AGAIN!!!!!”
