  “I’ve always come to Nina’s but after my last experience I will not be returning. My nails were done so badly in terms of shape and application. They were stuck on in all separate directions and did not match at all. Big chunks of skin were taken off both thumbs when my cuticles were being cut which is concerning as I had literally chunks of skin missing from my nail bed which could have caused infection. I’ve had these nails on for less than 2 weeks and they are already snapping off. This is such a shame as the employees themselves are lovely, but honestly girls save your money because the service you pay for is not reflective of what you get.”

  “The lady was very lovely and I enjoyed my experience whilst there bur she didn't fix a nail when I asked her to and now that they've grown out a bit I can see just how messy they actually were, will not be coming back.”

  “They make up the nail prices and the try and charge you for things you didn’t pay for. My total for 2 people should have came to £90 (45 each) but instead they forced us to pay £115. This is not acceptable behaviour at all. I have been coming here for years and I will never come back again.”

  “I’ve never written a review before but I’m so sad with how my nails turned out today. I went to Nina’s for a refill as I was by the post office but I will not be returning. First, the nails turned out nothing like the picture I showed multiple times. The dots were messy and when I asked her to make them less in lines and more all over she’s started making globs. Second, the set was lumpy and thick. Finally, about 8 hours later I showered and the nails were ruined.they all peeled off. Same day??? It turned out there were layers of uncured gel underneath. I had to file it off myself. That’s a health hazard. £35 for stress and ugly nails. Just save yourself the stress and gloom I had today :(”

  “Blood trapped under my nail beds alongside the cuts the man did when filing my nails too violently. I left a review about the set of nails I got and I then went back to have them removed due to the pain. Nina the owner called me a liar, said they looked “fine”, shouted at me saying why didn’t I come back sooner (I had WORK so I had to come back 5 days later) and used other customers in the store to prove her point. She argued time and time again raising her voice and then speaking in Chinese so I didn’t know what she was saying. They then rushed the removal and didn’t even try to be gentle knowing that my cuticles were tender. She accused me of getting my nails done, partying and then coming back for a refund (basically service fraud) which I’m inclined to believe was racist I don’t believe if I wasn’t a woman of colour she would have alluded to something so disgusting. They are fake nice for a bit but the minute there’s an issue they’re really awful people, don’t go here.”

  “I had an amazing experience at Nina's Nail & Beauty Studio ... I went on my birthday and I was made to feel really special by Nina and her team !! She was very friendly and open and she was open to suggestions... I got my hands and feet done and it felt really good.. and the end result was great ... The artistic design that Nina did was 10/10... I also got my eyebrows waxed and tinted... I would honestly be returning and recommend Nina's!!! Also a plus for me was that they accepted all card payments not just cash !!!”

Coming from a service industry myself for more than 2 decades I can truly say it’s great here for my nails, friendly environment all the time.   “Not one for bad reviews but I had my nails done here this summer and had absolutely no issues as a result I decided to return last Friday and not even four days after the varnish has cracked and chipped all over, I haven't even been at work this week. Very disappointed”

  “Lovely nail extension infill for £25 (plus I tipped £5 for excellent service) and friendly, happy staff. Had a lovely chat with them about holidays. Also, there seem to be many regulars who are also very pleasant. Highly recommended.”
