Customer Review Summary
Guinness is what reviewers praise most, describing it as well kept, quickly poured and settled perfectly by efficient bar staff, with one reviewer ordering it with blackcurrant. Close behind is the atmosphere, called authentic, warm and friendly, with plenty of seating and a vibe that works whether sitting or standing, cosy in winter and phenomenal in summer. The back patio and garden draw praise, and one reviewer notes the pub is dog friendly. Staff are described as lovely, welcoming and fast even when the pub is super busy. The criticisms are small and specific. One reviewer found the wine lacked a fresh taste, another found only Guinness and Peroni on tap that night, and a third wished the new awning could open on one side because the garden had little shade on a sunny day. One reviewer recalls a mid-week afternoon with pints settling on the bar, Irish folk music playing and the bartender serving at the table.

“Great. Lovely bar. Nice staff. Dog friendly. Nice garden, they have an awning now too, it was a warm sunny day when we went and there wasn't much shade, but I presume the awning is for rain. Maybe if they opened the awning on one side so people could choose to sit in the shade or sun, but they'd have to move it with the sun.”

“Amazing Irish pub with a real authentic vibe. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff make you feel welcome right away. Great selection of drinks especially the Guinness which is poured perfectly. Music and energy are always on point. Definitely a place I would come back to”

“A true Irish pub. Mid week around 3.30. Pints of guiness settling awaiting customers, contemptory irish folk playing. Bar lady a lovely Dubling girl. Served at table. Pure bliss”
