  “Third time have eaten here never fail to be impressed . Go to Liverpool a few of times a year and l always think am going to try somewhere different look round town then think no l want to go to Elif . The fact it's so busy all the time speaks for itself. Food is amazing the little extra touch's like salad bowl and warm bread with your amazing meal is great , the staff are brilliant and the lunch meal deal at £15.95 is unbeatable value for money and quality. Do your tastbuds a favour give it a go .”

  “Every time I visit Liverpool, one of my must-visit places is Elif. After several visits, I can honestly say that it has never disappointed me. From the moment you walk through the door, you are welcomed by a friendly and professional team that makes you feel comfortable and valued as a customer. The service is consistently outstanding. The staff are attentive, efficient, and always happy to help with recommendations. Even when the restaurant is busy, the level of attention and hospitality remains exceptional, which is something I truly appreciate. What stands out the most is the quality of the food. Every dish arrives beautifully presented, showing great attention to detail and care from the kitchen. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and the flavors are rich and authentic. You can tell that a lot of effort goes into both the preparation and presentation of every meal. For me, the absolute star of the menu is the KARESI. It is an impressive dish, both visually and in terms of flavor. The combination of perfectly cooked meats, fresh accompaniments, and incredible seasoning creates a memorable dining experience every single time. It is not only delicious but also a fantastic dish to share and enjoy with friends or family. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively and welcoming, making it a great place for both casual meals and special occasions. Combined with the excellent food and outstanding customer service, it is easy to understand why I keep coming back whenever I am in Liverpool. If you are looking for authentic Turkish cuisine, generous portions, beautiful presentation, and fantastic service, Elif is a place you should not miss.   “Had dinner at Elif Turkish BBQ with a group of friends and it was such a good experience. The meat was tender and flavourful, the sides were fresh, and the portions were huge. We all walked out completely full. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.”

  “If the UK were ever called a “food desert,” then Elif Turkish BBQ Restaurant would surely be its hidden oasis. We were a group of two families—four adults and three children—who made a special trip just to try this highly-rated spot. The experience began the moment we stepped through the door, greeted by the irresistible aroma of charcoal-grilled meats sizzling right before our eyes. The menu was incredibly tempting, with so many dishes we wanted to try. Thankfully, the staff kindly advised us not to over-order and reassured us we could always add more later—an honest and thoughtful touch that already set them apart. In the end, we chose a mixed grill platter meant for four. First came two fresh salads, light and refreshing. Then arrived the main event: a generous platter piled high with beautifully grilled meats, resting on soft flatbread and accompanied by fragrant rice. The moment we took our first bite, one word came to mind—delicious. The lamb chops were especially memorable, rich in flavor and perfectly cooked, leaving us wanting more. Every cut of meat was impressive in its own way. The rice was soft and subtly aromatic, while the house-made bread was simply outstanding—warm, fluffy, and the perfect companion to the meats. To finish, we were treated to a complimentary Turkish dessert. It had a texture somewhat like traditional ginger candy but infused with a delicate rose fragrance—unique and delightful. The service throughout was excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Overall, an absolutely fantastic dining experience. This is more than just a meal; it’s a place worth traveling for.”

  “I ordered the Iskender and honestly expected something closer to the Turkish version, but it didn’t really resemble authentic Iskender. That said, it was still tasty. The ordering process and service were good, no issues there. I was a bit surprised to see a £10 service charge on the bill though, it feels quite high for fairly standard service. Overall, it was a good experience. The restaurant was clean, and the lady who served us was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what she was doing.”

  “We went for dinner pretty good place food was good except the dessert. Food quality and quantity was good, but we were not satisfied with the seafood pot the there were barely few prawns other than that the meat platter was nice. Dessert was disappointing we ordered a cheescake but the slice decorated with too much whipping cream so not worth. Other than staffs were good food was also a new experience.”

  “All dishes are amazing here! it's fresh, great quality and absolutuely delicious! 😋 The portion is big too. I had whole grilled seabass which is rarely to find this somewhere else in the UK I'm so happy they serve this dish. The bread that came with starter was so soft and warm, tasted so good. Ooh and the salad served with the main course is fresh & tasty! It's our first time here we will definitely revisit next time we're in Liverpool! I love how you can see they grill all of our food at the front of the restaurant! guaranteed everything is fresh 😊 Even the drinks are lovely, good Turkish tea and one of the best virgin mojito. All staff is very nice they worked hard as it was very busy at the time we got in. Appreciated your services. Thank you :)”

  “Amazing food and super service. Delicious and freshly prepared meats and salads, a great experience in a vibrant and popular place. Well worth a visit & highly recommended. The sharing meat platter for 4 was excellent value and came with a salad and some delicious dips, plenty of food to share. The platter was freshly cooked and accompanied with some warms breads and plenty of rice. Very central location and close to some very nice bars.”
