  “Spent £50 Half a duck (£20 btw) was all sliced and was a fatty slimy mess! No flavour, none of the crispy bits just lots of fatty grey pieces, hoi sun sauce clearly been watered down too!! Salt pepper chicken wings with no seasoning on! Why is it these places are more expensive than ever, yet the quality is awful!! Avoid avoid avoid”

  “Ordered food at 9pm and it did not arrive at all. I had to repeat my address 3 times as she was clearly not listening. Each time I said my address she rudely interrupted me saying "okay, but what do you want". Clearly had no intention of delivering from the get go. Avoid.”

  “My go to chippies in West Derby have changed hands so I decided to try this one. You can see all the staff working in view. Nothing going on out of sight. We got small fish and chips with peas and Sweet and sour King prawn with fried rice. Everything was cooked to order, took 10 to 15 mins to be ready. The staff were very polite and attentive. We both enjoyed the food and we will definitely use this shop as our first choice chippy in future.”

  “Have been going to this chip shop for years and the food has always been nice. Got crispy duck with pancakes tonight and the portion was tiny, no chance that was a quarter of duck, and it was not crispy at all. Ordered chips and gravy, both cold, and crispy chilli beef which was undercooked. Complained and was told they had been busy which was the reason for the poor food but they would replace. There were 3 customers in the shop when I was there. The food was so bad that I did not accept the replacement. Being busy is not an excuse to serve poor food. I have never complained to a chip shop before let alone written a review but £25.80 went straight in the bin tonight because this chip shop was apparently too busy to serve edible food!”

  “Found this place by chance and we were not disappointed! The Fish and Chips was delicious and they gave a very generous serving! One the locals said they’ve been open for close to 50 years. Simply amazing!”

  “Fantastic Chinese takeaway, very clean and staff are great and very helpful, food cooked with fresh ingredients. They do a small fresh fish cooked to order this is great for smaller appetites. 2 experienced chefs to cook your favourite dishes. Fast, friendly service.”

  “One of the best Chinese chippy I have experienced. Always a cheerful place always a smile when entering , I go here almost every week and never had a complaint about the food , the food here is very good with a huge menu to choose from, can get very busy at times so a wait can be expected. Pay it a visit , you won't be disappointed.”

  “A bit of a creature of habit, mostly ordering Singapore Vermicelli, BBQ ribs and chips - always excellent quality!! Fish 'n' chips also excellent, as is the curry sauce. My 'go-to' take away in the area. I always find the staff to be very polite and friendly.”

  “Bought a large portion of salt and pepper chips and a sausage dinner with curry on the 29/3/2016. When i opened the chip tray i found that my 'salt and pepper' chips were literally just chips with 2 pieces of onion and the curry was lumpy! The food I've had from there has always been poor and i advise you avoid this chippy as its disgusting.”
