Customer Review Summary
Security dominates the reviews, and most reviewers describe the bouncers as aggressive. One was turned away over trousers despite wearing a polo and quarter zip, another was shoved aside in a crowd and then ejected for objecting, and a third says saying hello to a bouncer got them kicked out. One group describes a bouncer repeatedly pressing a friend's wife to dance, and another group was removed after a woman who dropped her box of shots accused them of stealing. One reviewer who was refused entry reports feeling targeted as racist and plans a formal complaint. Two others allege losses: one says staff denied having a lost phone and wallet that an airtag showed inside, and another says a paid drink was disputed despite proof on a banking app. Some reviewers still like the three floors and decent music, though one calls a night here a gamble. The bar draws the warmest comments, with staff described as polite, lovely and quick, and one bartender knew every drink price so a budget could hold.

“Was in here the another week or so and the goth girl behind the bar was very welcoming and knowledgeable she knew all the drink prices so I could stick to my budget for the night while still enjoying myself. Would recommend her to anyone who goes for a night out at this club”

“The staff here are lovely, and the drinks come out super quick. They’ve got over three floors, and I genuinely loved it here.”

“I was at the bar and I paid for a drink for myself and they tried to say I didn’t pay for anything and didn’t serve me but I had the proof on my banking app. Disgusting robbery.”

“Saw a young girl shouted at by bar staff and kicked out of the club alone. Hardly appropriate. I didn't notice her friends leave, so they are equally crap. Hope she got home safe. Seems like aggressive vibes.”

“I went to Level Nightclub this past Friday night—technically Saturday morning, May 2nd—with my boyfriend, and I felt completely targeted by the staff. My boyfriend is from Liverpool and knows the guards, but I’ve only been here for nine months as a student at the University of Liverpool. The guard looked right at my boyfriend and told him he could go in, but that I couldn’t. He didn't even look at me or bother to check my ID. When my boyfriend tried to ask why they were doing this, it just seemed to trigger them more. We weren't even at the door anymore; we were at the end of the line when one of the guards came up to us and started walking right towards me. He kept saying I was "too close" and needed to move away, clearly trying to intimidate me and rage-bait me into a reaction, even though I'm much smaller than him. As soon as he realized I was recording, he got even more aggressive and smug. I kept asking for a reason why I wasn't being allowed in, and he just said "no reason" in a really disrespectful, smug way. It is a joke that this club has so many reviews complaining about the security and nothing has been done. This was a total abuse of power and felt racist just because I don't look English. I’m a student here, I pay rent and work here, and I shouldn't be treated like this. I have the whole thing on video and I’ll be filing a formal complaint. I really recommend this place installs cameras with sound so they can see how abusive and childish their staff actually is. I don't care about getting into this place again, it's not worth it.”
