Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for breakfast, especially the all-day full English, which one diner says is served right up to closing when other cafes nearby have stopped. A sausage barm, bacon or sausage baps, a vegetarian breakfast and an omelette with curly fries all get named, and the food is described as fresh, hot and well presented. Close behind are the homemade bakes: a quiche with fresh tomatoes, coleslaw and salad, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a pistachio cake. Coffee, a latte and an americano earn praise too. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and smiling, and several reviewers say they visit weekly or have returned many times. The one caution comes from a reviewer who notes the cafe is not very good for wheelchairs, though a couple can be accommodated in the downstairs eating area. One diner recalls a special message written on their cake, and another remembers the cafe as the place where a proposal followed their Christmas Eve visit.

“I was fortunate that Dapa had no food, as it made me go in here. A lovely place with happy smiling staff. I was seen to, in perfect time and enjoyed hearing the conversation between the young person working and their customers, very friendly. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast, not because I am a vegetarian, simply because it sounded lovely. Also an americanoto drink. It came pretty quick, whilst I enjoyed catching up on emails using the free WiFi. Food was perfectly cooked and really warm. The flavour through all of the breakfast was delicious. I went to pay and again surrounded by smiles. Left feeling rested, full, and happy.”
