Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers praise the food and the staff together, with the tikka masala and mixed grill singled out as cooked to perfection and several calling it the best Indian in Lisburn. One diner found the Chicken Madras with garlic naan delicious and properly spicy, with the chutneys helping tame the heat, though only one popadom arrived with the starter. Pints of Cobra get a mention, and another reviewer enjoyed a starter, main and dessert. Service is described repeatedly as attentive, friendly and polite, and a Father's Day diner praised the welcome from everyone. One reviewer gives a sharply different account, reporting being ignored at reception and kept waiting in the lobby while most tables sat empty, and being told the restaurant was understaffed and that the floors were dirty. Elsewhere, a reviewer notes staff explaining the menu and its flavours as they ordered.

“One of the few independent places in Lisburn open on a Monday to dine-in. I started with a popadom and chutneys. The popadom was nice and chutneys were okay. Though just 1 popadom. I got the Chicken Madras knowing it would be spicy, and garlic naan. It was delicious and quite spicy to begin with though the chutneys helped reduce the heat. Overall a nice atmosphere, good food, and attentive service plus open on Mondays in Lisburn. Total cost was £27.”

“Walked into this place a couple days ago. They have around 20 odd tables of which only 3 were occupied and still we had to stand at the reception waiting for someone to allocate us a table. Their staff clearly ignored us initially and eventually we were told to wait in the lobby for 15mins because they were “understaffed” and the floors were dirty. We even said we were happy to sit down at a table and look at the menu while waiting, but apparently that was too much to ask. If you are calling yourself fine dining, at the very least learn basic hospitality first. — Response : Thank you for strengthening my review about your restaurant. Of course you have no record of me dining (very convinient) —your staff had made us wait in the lobby for 15 minutes and refused to seat us! I couldn't spend my money here even if I wanted to. I see from your other replies that accountability isn't your strong suit. Thankfully, as a non-local, I can easily take my business to the many other places in the area that actually understand basic hospitality :). This review is simply to warn the community, not to argue with a defensive owner.”
