  “We went there at 10pm on a Friday and we was the only 2 people there, you could see they had been busy as all the staff were clearing up everything. The staff we met were all so nice and this pub has a really nic3 outside space to sit for food and drink as well.”

  “If your dining inside i found it very dark. Found was a little bland for me, but my partner enjoyed his. Drinks were forgotten and my starter burnt my tongue so had nothing to cold my mouth down. After chasing staff we finally got them after our starters. There seemed alot of redelegating jobs. Never seeing the same person twice. It was a bit of a strange experience. But ok”

  “A disappointing last meal whilst at Tattershall lakes. The venue itself is nice and staff are friendly. Cocktails were buy one yet one half price. But unfortunately thats as far a I go with positives. The service was average. We ordered drinks and some 15 minutes later they arrived. They came after other tables had ordered and got theirs and the waitress thought we had already been served. The food. You'd find better at spoons. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger. The patties were half the size of the bun and as thick as a 5 pence. It was on par with standards you'd expect at a burger van. Cheap... it set me back £16!!! The lamp steak tiny. The mash as is microwaved. My wife LOVES Lamb and only ate half of it. The only positive was that kids mains are 95p with an adult main. We ate at the propeller restaurant the night before and it was cheaper and 10x nice. Dont waste your time or money.”

  “Came for an evening meal quite late on a busy Saturday and they fit us in no problem. 5 out of our groups 6 meals were great and the only meal there was a problem with they replaced very quickly and gave a drink as an apology. I had the rump steak (pictured) and it was cooked perfectly just how I had asked. All of the staff were excellent but Will especially thank you so much for giving our hen party a fun evening.”

  “Excellent service, staff were lovely and the food was amazing and stood out from the mainstream with fresh veg with most main meals, well cooked good quality ingredients. Nice to see fresh produce instead of bog standard meals you get in most pubs. Would highly recommend.”

  “Came here tonight for dinner and sadly had a very poor experience. The venue is nice, and the staff are very friendly (but slow) but that’s where the positives end. We booked a table and when we arrived it wasn’t overly busy. We ordered a burger and a salad with a side and it took 50 minutes for our food to arrive for just two simple dishes. We weren’t told that food might be a while so had to check in to make sure our food was actually on its way. The lettuce in the Caesar salad was still watery and the overall taste was pretty average. The burger was not great either - a basic bun, two small thin patties, one slice of cheap American cheese slapped on top which at £15.95 is far too expensive for the low quality of the food and we’ve had much better elsewhere for the same price point. It was extremely hot inside. We were told to pay at the bar, and ended up standing there being ignored for over 10 minutes. We complained and were able to instead pay where you’re welcomed which should have been what we were told to do to begin with. Our experience overall was very poor, and we wouldn’t come back here again.”

  “food not really edible sadly. we ordered 2 grilled chicken meals with garlic fries. the chicken was so rubbery and inedible it had possibly been microwaved and was very overcooked. the chips were swimming in oil. it really was not good. we also ordered a cajun chicken pasta, which was half a ‘chicken steak’ again, rubbery and hard. the mushroom pasta was like a bowl of pasta soup it was swimming in liquid. no one asked how our meal was. and we didn’t order another as we felt the risk was too great so we ate the edible bits, paid and left. i would not recommend coming here.”
