About Bangla Spice Brasserie
Bangla Spice Brasserie is an Indian restaurant on Thorntrees in Leyland. From Sunday to Thursday, a set deal gives diners a starter, a main and a side such as rice, which makes it a ready-made three-part meal for those evenings. Mains on the menu include lamb dupiaza and lamb rogan josh, and chicken chaat is one of the starters. Poppadoms come to the table at the start of the meal. A separate Christmas menu is available for the festive season.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often return for the weekday set deal of a starter, main and side, which several call good value and better than a takeaway. Reviewers name lamb dupiaza and lamb rogan josh as mains, with keema mushrooms and chicken chaat as starters, and one calls it the best curry they have tasted. Close behind is the staff, described as nice, helpful and welcoming, with one reviewer noting patient waiters and another a friendly owner. A few say the deal makes the restaurant busy, and one suggests booking first. The complaints are sharper. One reviewer reports fruit flies swarming the table and a dirty restaurant, and says they were told on arrival to leave within an hour. Another collected a takeaway and found items missing at home. Still, one reviewer describes a quick meal that did not feel rushed, and another says the staff always stop for a chat.

“Tried this a few days ago after hearing some negative online discourse about it and it's safe to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing but more importantly, the hygiene and hospitality was unmatched - I really appreciate a place with good service and this definitely checked all of my boxes, especially the attentiveness and patience of the waiters given the fact that I'm neurodivergent. The owner was also super sweet and made the place feel extremely welcoming, definitely will be back with friends 👍🏼”

“You know what. The food was okay but we were swarmed by fruit flys the entire time. Constantly swatting flys away from our food. The restaurant is dirty beyond belief. If the customer facing area is this dirty I dead to think what the kitchen must be like. Within 30 mins we managed to eat our poppadoms and mains which is on the too fast side of things. Upon entry we was immediately told we need to be gone within an hour. Not exactly welcoming. Food was actually decent but let down by everything else.”

“Ordered a takeaway collected, made the mistake of not checking it before I left….. items missing when I got home, kicking myself for not checking but lets face it they have 1 job, put whats ordered in a bag Disappointing”

“If I could give 10 ☆ I would. This restaurant is beautiful. The food is amazing, the staff are outstanding and the all out service and cost is so good. People travel into Manchester and Preston and pay 3 times the cost of this without the good service. 100% rate Bangla Spice Leyland”
