Having dined here on many occasions, I have consistently found the food to be of an exceptional standard. The dishes are always fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. The quality, freshness, and generous portions fully justify the prices. In addition, the customer service is outstanding. The staff are consistently courteous, professional, patient, and genuinely attentive, ensuring that every guest enjoys a pleasant dining experience.   “Really enjoyed our meal at Karamay Uyghur Cuisine! The food was authentic, flavourful and full of character. We especially loved the hand-pulled noodles and lamb skewers — everything was well seasoned and tasted really fresh. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my favourite places for Uyghur food in Leicester, and I’d happily come back again!”

  “I never had boiled rice pilau full of oil .waste of money will never be going there again.Ridiculously expensive for this quality. Was a good place to eat 2 years ago. Don’t go there”

  “The food is so delicious! The noodles are chewy with amazing seasoning, and the lamb skewers are incredibly tasty as well. Tina is also very friendly and welcoming, which make the whole dining experience even better. Highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely be coming back!”

  “I ordered in takeaway There is too much water in fried noodles. My personal preference still needs to be dried. The fried noodles are still a little too salty. But fried jiaozi is good. It goes well with sweet and spicy sauce.”

  “A true hidden gem. The food was exceptional—full of flavour and far beyond your typical Chinese restaurant. We even saw a delivery of Halal HMC meat, which was great to see. The service was outstanding; the lady who served us was incredibly kind, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations. She also treated us to a beautifully fragrant tea at the end. A lovely touch was seeing another customer, who stopped in while waiting for a train, take our recommendations and thoroughly enjoy his meal too. Highly recommend visiting and supporting this small, family-run restaurant.”

  “Super delicious central Asian fare steps away from Leicester Station. The Bulgarian chef serves up a storm of authentic Xinjiang specialties. Do try the salted milk drink and rose tea with the spicy dishes.”

  “Tried fresh hand pulled noodles and Uyghur cuisine for the first time and loved it. The Chinese flavours were authentic and fresh. Lots of meat dishes and NO complaints for that. The chicken sweetcorn soup was so delicious. The dumplings were slightly disappointing as it had no salt in it. But The rest of the food was 10 on 10. The host was very professional and friendly. The ambience was soothing too. We drove an 1.5 hrs to try this food and it was all worth it”

  “The meats here are really tasty + tender! We had the chili fried chicken (personal favourite), lamb and chicken gizzard skewers were also amazing and would definitely order again. The signature fried noodles were good too but would like to try the other noodles on the menu next time we come”
