Customer Review Summary
Breakfast leads the praise at this farm restaurant, with reviewers singling out the Crag breakfast, called fresh and flavorful, and sourdough toast with marmalade served by happy waitresses. Close behind are a huge burger stacked with onion rings and chips, a bacon butty with a runny fried egg, and mash with local sausages that one reviewer rates above any competition in West Yorkshire. Menus run from light bites to more substantial meals, and several describe friendly, efficient staff. A group of twelve noted quick service, and one diner praised the conservatory view. The main complaint comes from a three-star visit where a front of house staff member did not look up from a screen or acknowledge arriving diners, leaving them waiting. That reviewer found the waiters smiling and attentive, called the food OK, and skipped the shop afterward. Another reviewer finds the eating area noisy but clean and well maintained. One reviewer suggests booking on hot days. Several pair a meal with the plant sale, the deli counter, and the gardens, and one walked off a breakfast round the gardens.

“A lovely place to visit. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The choice on the menu was great ( a mixture of light bites or more substantial meals) and the prices are very sensible. The quality of the food was also very good. I will definitely be visiting this establishment again.”
