About Yorkshire Crust
Yorkshire Crust is a cafe and catering business on Tinshill Rd in Leeds, open for daytime service Wednesday to Sunday. The full English comes with a hot drink included and features poached eggs alongside dry cured thick smoked bacon, and eggs benedict also sits on the menu. A homemade bean burger style veggie sausage covers the vegetarian option, and a breakfast wrap can be made on request. There's no need to book, as the cafe operates on a walk-in basis with generally short waits for service. A covered raised seating area provides outdoor seating, suiting those eating with dogs, which are welcome throughout. High chairs are available for families with young children. The business also offers catering beyond its cafe service.

Customer Review Summary
The full English breakfast is the draw reviewers raise most, with diners praising the perfectly cooked meat, thick dry cured smoked bacon, poached eggs, reduced tinned tomatoes and rosti. One calls it the best they have ever had. Close behind are the eggs benedict and the coffee, described as really good quality, with a mocha singled out by one reviewer. Two reviewers praise the homemade veggie sausage, likened to a bean burger. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and service is described as prompt with short waits. Several mention reasonable prices and good portions, and a few enjoyed the covered outdoor seating. The one caveat comes from a reviewer who finds the small cafe gets loud, though not so much that conversation suffers. Several say they plan to return and work through the rest of the menu. One regular notes the kitchen made a breakfast wrap that is not on the menu, and another had bacon swapped for a veggie sausage without any fuss.

“Great breakfast spot! The veggie sausage was really good and the overall quality of the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly too. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.”

“Lovely fresh food , great portions and value for money. Staff were very attentive and lovely. The coffee was great too! I asked to swap bacon for a veggie sausage which they were happy to do. I was expecting the veggie sausages to be more of a ‘meat substitute’ vibe but they were more of a bean burger style. They were still yummy tho and I appreciate they are homemade.”

“What a lovely little gem! Jan 2026, I've passed this so often and always told myself ill pop in, todya was the day! The staff very welcoming and patient. The cafe cosy and cute, quiet small so does get loud but nothing excessive you can still talk! The food? absolutely delicious 😋! I had eggs benedict and honestly its in the top 5 best I've ever had! The coffee also lovely, really good quality, hot but not too hot. 11/04/26 I popped in for a mocha (my favourite) to take out as I had a food shop to do, the cafe was amazing lovely decorated, full of people enjoying food and coffee was absolutely delicious! Will definitely come back and definitely recommend 👌🏽”

“Fantastic little place, I've walked past it countless times and never thought to stop in, finally did and I wish I'd have tried it sooner. The staff were all very friendly, the food was excellent and the coffee was very nice, and it was quite reasonable to boot. I'll definitely be coming back to work my way through the menu!”
