  “Love it here, we keep coming back! Delicious food, amazing prices, incredibly friendly service. They have some really delicious dishes on their Chinese menu, give them a try. My favourite is the spicy poached beef in chilli oil. Last time we went they only took cash but there is an ATM nearby the restaurant.”

  “First time here. Polite girl and lady attended to me. I hate it when restaurant front staff look at you with cold face like you’re not about to pay money to uplift their revenue. So well done to Tasty Wok for getting this basic thing right. Food was good but a little under seasoned and portion was small for the price, but all the same it’s beyond a write off! Unlike most Chinese takeaways which now accept forms of payment, this place only accepts cash - thankfully she directed me to a nearby cash machine.”

  “Went there for a family meal and it was lovely. We got there pretty early so got a choice of tables but it fill up pretty quickly. Service was great and they helped us with food suggestions too. Super friendly staff and all the food came out quick and hot. I’m a stickler for places that throw on too much MSG but this place didn’t have that and I throughly enjoyed the food. Even the toilets were super clean and sometimes that’s how some people judge a food place. We’ll be back for sure.”

  “We ordered salt and pepper chips with crispy beef in chilli sauce. It was delicious. One of the best I've ever had. It got delivered in good time and the food was still very hot.”

  “Friendly service and tasty food. Well worth supporting this independent restaurant, especially if you're vegetarian! We had hot & sour and sweetcorn soups - both normally have meat but can be made vegetarian on request. For mains we had sweet & sour vegetarian chicken and beancurd with ginger & spring onion. I am chinese so I'm probably more fussy about chinese food then the typical customer and all of the dishes were very tasty. With a citrus tea and a Chinese tea, the total bill came to £38 without service. A very reasonable price to walk away with full bellies and a smile on our faces.”

  “First visit today for dinner. Lovely service and very clean. Really good prices. Tasty hot food. Modern bathroom. Really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend. 2 coarse meal and drink for £12 so give them a try.”

  “Dining from the Lunchtime Special menu where two courses from the varied menu (including vegetarian options) costs a very reasonable £9.00 (Nov’24). Speedy, friendly service will ensure you can be finished in little more than 30 minutes if in a rush.”

  “I was pleasantly surprised, I don’t usually like Chinese takeout in Lancaster because the last and only time I got one I was ill for a while. Not the point, I digress. The food at Tasty Wok was delicious, very fast to get the food and we got really good portions for quite cheap. I will definitely be back. Thank you Tasty wok”
