The restaurant sits upstairs with views over the loch, while the café downstairs serves breakfast, coffee and cake. Customer Review Summary

Hearty lunch plates are the main draw, led by the fillet steak ciabatta with mustard mayo, served with a huge portion of fries and plenty of salad. Close behind are the mince and tatties, the BBQ chicken burger with chunky chips, and goujons one reviewer calls fresh and out of this world, with the tiramisu also singled out. Reviewers repeatedly describe friendly, quick service, generous portions that one calls almost too plentiful, and a lovely view over the loch, with a downstairs cafe for coffee and cake and a playground for kids. The criticisms are specific. One diner found a classic steak and chips disappointing, with undercooked chips, a slightly bitter steak tasting of burnt oil, and greasy onion rings. One reviewer asks for a soft drink menu and reports a broken toilet seat in the first cubicle that left a blood blister. Another says two sets of outside stairs are the only route they found to the restaurant and toilets, and wouldn't recommend it to disabled visitors. One reviewer's dog enjoyed sausages.

“Great venue, large car park, lovely walk around the loch, Cafe downstairs is great for a breakfast or just coffee and cake stop. Upstairs is a lovely restaurant with views over the loch. Staff are welcoming and efficient. Menu has something for everyone, Food is good and plentiful. Almost too plentiful.”

“The food here I had was delicious. I had lunch here after walking around the Loch. Had to use the bathroom straight after ordering. The bathroom was clean, but my concern is about the disabled toilet. There two sets of stairs outside and that is the only way to get to the restaurant (that I know of) and to the toilets. The service was good, though. Servers were smiling and very friendly. Wouldn't recommend if you're disabled”
