Customer Review Summary
Chips and curry sauce draw the most praise, with one reviewer calling the curry sauce "FAB" and others enjoying chips, rice and curry after a football night or late in the evening. Close behind, a chicken fried rice portion is described as delicious with enough left for a snack the next day, and a special chow mein with sweet and sour pork arrived well packaged and properly cooked. Staff are described as welcoming and chatty, even just before closing. The complaints are substantial, though. Several delivery orders reportedly arrived hours after the estimate, with soggy chips, crispy Thai chicken with a marshmallow texture, and green Thai curries holding only a few pieces of meat in congealed onions. One diner found the food far too salty, and one reviewer reports reheated chicken wings and questions hygiene standards. Another found three portions of chips and curry dry and inedible, and was refused a refund and offered a discount on a future visit instead.

“Called in Tuesday 18.8.26 just before closing time. Staff were moping the floor and I thought they were going to say I was too late. But they didn't. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I placed my order and the staff were very chatty and polite. They are cash only which is a shame. I took the order (special Chow Mein and sweet and sour pork) back to the hotel I was staying in along the road. The meal was well packaged to avoid spillage. The meal tasted great and was properly cooked. I can only take it as I found it and it was good.”

“Chicken wings were absolutely disgusting and inedible! These were clearly 2 days old wings that had been thrown in the fryer to reheat, you literally could not bite through the batter. Place needs shut down handing out food like this and they’ve been doing it for years taking your hard earned cash! Rice had clumpy bits of ‘wok juice’ in there, happy meal was more like a SAD meal! Boycott this place at all costs, horrific food and questionable hygiene standards.”

“Ordered a green Thai chicken curry and a beef one, 2 hours later it arrived, bloody awful, both dishes had 4 pieces of meat, the rest of container was filled with warm congealed mass of onions and 2 slices of pepper, delivery driver didn't speak English , never ordering from here again”
