“We just popped in for ice creams, which were really good. We sat in the little outdoor space they have , which is right on the lake , and watched the boats coming and going.”

“I stopped here for breakfast (really just to kill time while my car is being serviced). What a gem of a place... the food is beautifully cooked, for me personally the mark of a good breakfast is how the mushrooms are cooked and if the sausages are cheap or quality.. firstly the mushrooms were cooked perfectly, hot but still have a firm texture, clearly cooked fresh to order and the sausages had that nice 'meaty' taste that you expect from butchers sausages and not the "mush" cheap ones offer. All in all a very good breakfast and a nice place to sit and rest for a while. £18 including a pot of tea. Highly recommend”
