“Wouldn’t recommend, all the meats had the wrong texture. The flavors were all wrong. The food was DEFINITELY NOT Chinese. All the deserts were still frozen. Bit into a cream finger and it felt like an ice cube. The meats were slimy and the vegetables were all so overcooked they just watered eveything down. We all left feeling sick when we left.”

“All eyes on me, as the only chinese person eating there... very busy place. Hot foods coming out. Mussels freshly cooked but stank, if its fresh it shouldnt smell and these stank...so long frozen type. All the food out, chinese people dont eat. Had mainly vermicelli, tried chicken curry & veg fried rice. All bland not much taste but looked nice. Brocolli was nice though... not bad for a buffet place, been to much worse. When you have been to proper chinese buffet restaurants in China, nothing in UK even comes close... it is what it is...main thing it fills you up!”

“Great value lunch with high-quality meat, but the rice was unfortunately undercooked today. Since there are many elderly customers here, soft rice might be better. The menu is small but fairly priced”

“Absolutely horrible experience at Real China. We were a group of five women and three children, and what should have been a normal family meal turned into a humiliating and uncomfortable situation because of one extremely rude staff member. Two of us ordered Coke refills, two bottled water, and one orange juice. The children were only drinking water. One friend who had a Coke refill became full and simply poured the rest of her drink into a child’s glass so it wouldn’t be wasted. There was no intention to repeatedly refill or abuse the policy. A male staff member suddenly approached us in a very loud and aggressive manner, accusing us of sharing drinks. He didn’t politely remind us(which will be fine if he did) but he practically shouted at us. His tone was confrontational and disrespectful, and he spoke loudly enough that other diners started looking at our table. It was extremely embarrassing and completely unnecessary. We understand restaurant policies, but there is absolutely no excuse for humiliating customers in public. A simple, respectful explanation would have been fine. Instead, we were treated as if we were doing something dishonest. To make matters worse, we later saw the same staff member pointing at our table and talking to his colleagues, clearly singling us out. This made us feel judged, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. When two of us approached him calmly to address the issue, he showed no apology, no professionalism, and no basic courtesy. This is unacceptable behavior for anyone working in hospitality. It ruined our entire meal. We have been regular customers, but after this incident we will never return. One rude, unprofessional staff member completely destroyed our experience. Management seriously needs to train their staff on basic manners and customer service. No customer should ever be publicly shamed over something so minor. We left feeling angry, embarrassed, and deeply disappointed. Definitely not coming back”

“The restaurant in the shopping center looks rather unassuming, but once you're seated, it's impressive. It's a small, atmospheric restaurant. During the week, the selection isn't huge, but everyone will find something to their liking. The food is fresh, with juicy meat, mussels, several types of fruit, and pastries. It's worth the wait for dinner.”
