“I've been coming to Golden House for a while now, and it's genuinely one of the best Chinese takeaways around. The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavour – no greasy, overcooked nonsense here. The sesame chicken is absolutely delicious, and the portions are huge; one meal easily does for two . The walnut shrimp is another standout – crispy batter, perfectly cooked shrimp, and that sweet, tangy sauce is just right . What really makes this place special is the service. Ming, the owner, is sweet as can be, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly . They remember you, they're happy to chat, and they go out of their way to make sure everything's right . Even when they're packed, they keep things moving and never make you feel rushed . It's a small, no-frills spot in a strip mall, but don't let that put you off. If you're after solid, reliable Chinese food with proper portions and genuinely lovely people running the place, this is it.”

“I’ve been using this Chinese for years however yesterday I ordered a chicken and pineapple dish. The chicken was dreadful. It had a pink appearance to it and the chicken tasted processed and rubbery. By the time I was getting to the end of it the meal had gone cold. I won’t be coming back any time soon. They are clearly using very cheap meat. It’s a shame as it has previously been a good takeaway.”

“I was so glad to find out the former owners of Wing Hing on Wold Rd had opened a new restaurant close by. I went to their former takeaway for 20 years before they left, nowhere else has the same consistent quality, food, including the takeaway that took over their name.”
