  “Review Had such a lovely time at The Red Deer in Horsham! 🍻😊 The food was really tasty, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the whole evening just felt really enjoyable. A special shoutout to Elana, who was absolutely amazing throughout our visit — friendly, attentive and genuinely lovely without being overbearing. She really made us feel looked after! ⭐️ Would definitely come back again and recommend it if you’re looking for a nice local spot for food and drinks. Great service, good food and a really nice atmosphere”

  “The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. You could really tell that so much care had gone into everything. A special mention has to go to our waitress, Elena, who was absolutely incredible. She was so friendly, attentive and genuinely lovely throughout our whole meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made us feel so welcome and looked after from start to finish. Fantastic food, amazing service and such a lovely atmosphere. It was our first time coming and will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! ❤️”

  “Last Sunday me and my family went to our favourite Sunday roast restaurant. Our server was Josie from the first conversation we had it set the mood for the rest of the meal. Her service was outstanding and very recognisable. The Sunday roast was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The unlimited gravy and potatoes was a lovely touch to the meal. We will definitely be making a reservation again. If you haven’t already tried this restaurant for a Sunday roast would highly recommend to go.”

  “It was our first visit to The Red Deer and we were really impressed. We found it friendly and welcoming. Our server Josie was very helpful. The service was fast and the food (we all had roast dinners but didn’t have starters or puddings) was excellent. Not the best roast potatoes ever but the meat was superb and worth returning for plus a nice selection of accompaniments.”

  “I went here for a roast dinner expecting a lot and was disappointed. The staff and restaurant are lovely but the food is lacking. I preferred the 1/2 chicken roast and was told I could have this a a 1/2 portion but when I asked for the breast part was told they didn’t know what I’d get. Food had clearly been microwaved as it arrived within 20 minutes if my order and the plate was hot The food was nice but the roasties were soft due to being microwaved and the cauliflower cheese was watery and very sweet for some reason. Did to cost of over £25 due to service charge, I wouldn’t go again”

  “We had the most incredible evening tonight and I just had to share our experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff went completely out of their way to welcome us — not just us, but our two dogs as well. We’ve honestly never been anywhere where the team was so genuinely friendly, warm, and attentive. It immediately set the tone for what turned out to be such a special night. It was actually our dog’s birthday, and the staff made it unforgettable. They surprised us with a beautiful “happy birthday” plate with our dog’s name on it, and even gathered round to clap and celebrate — such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch that we’ll never forget. It really meant a lot. The atmosphere and venue itself are absolutely lovely — relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for both humans and dogs. And speaking of dogs, the fact they have their own dedicated dog menu is just brilliant! As a vegan couple, we’re always a bit cautious when trying somewhere new, but we had plenty of options available here. All the vegan options are clearly marked. The food was absolutely amazing, every dish was delicious and clearly made with care. The value for money is fantastic as well. A very special mention has to go to Elena, who served us throughout the evening. Her customer service was truly outstanding. She made us feel so welcome, looked after us perfectly, and went above and beyond in every way. We visit at a lot of places, and I can honestly say we’ve never felt so genuinely cared for. Elena is an absolute credit to the business and really deserves recognition for her exceptional service. All in all, it was such a special evening that we’ll be talking about for a long time. We will definitely be returning! If you’re looking for a restaurant in the Horsham area, this place is an absolute must-visit — especially if you’re bringing your dogs 🐾 Thank you Red Deer Horsham. 🙏”

  “The best restaurant in Horsham. We've been there many times before but today (on a Saturday) we went there for lunch and drinks. My husband had a burger, I had 2 starters - smoked Chalk river trout/avocado/pickled cucumber garnished with trout caviar was simply delicious. Another starter I had was wild mushrooms on toasted bread - full of flavour and great presentation. I really enjoyed both dishes. The drinks menu is excellent. The service was quick and very friendly staff! Thank you so much and see you soon”
