  “I give 0 star if I could due to the rude girl who takes the orders giving spring rolls instead of drinks when in fact your suppose to offer drinks over for £35 she done this for the second time in a row I addressed it to her and the bad attitude was terrible towards me instead of apologising and acknowledging her wrongdoing She got vocal and raised her voice I will never go there again and on top also recently the food has been really bad”

  “Poor food, awful taste and quality has dropped significantly but the prices of each item has gone up considerably. 4 months ago the same order cost £9-10 less. Can only assume changed owners or chefs.”

  “Just been to this restaurant. We were out of the restaurant at 4:57PM. One employee was seating outside the restaurant, he deliberately shouted and said we do not open until 5PM. We waited till 5 PM and went in. Theirs was no one at the counter. We humbly asked the guy working inside if we can order food, the guy seating outside ran in and started speaking in loud voice saying ‘did you see anyone at the counter? If u didn’t u need not how can u give order’. Than he repeated again ‘ u were early and u suppose to wait until we are not ready’. If you were not ready you could have said please wait for 5 min until we get ready. There was no please whatsoever and all the employees were so rude as soon as they saw us waiting for ordering the food. Customer Service pathetic Employees do not like their job at all Owner of the restaurant must do proper inspection and hiring process to teach their employees for customer service. Before we ordering food we were so disrespected so we had to leave without ordering food. Never visiting this fast food restaurant.”

  “Not sure why there’s so many badly rated reviews, this Chinese is great and is just what you want from a a typical Chinese takeaway. Always fresh, great delivery, and tastes just like what you’d expect. For Chinese fast-food/takeaway, I genuinely don’t get what more people could want/expect, so don’t take these reviews so seriously, we’ve been getting Li’s for about 4/5 years now, never had any complaints.”

  “Wow the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time! I ordered king po chicken which was bursting with flavour. We also had salt n pepper squid stir fried vegetable and Singapore noodles it was piping hot and tasty! 10 out of 10”

  “Waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for my order, they said they couldn’t get hold of the driver. Then when the driver finally came, I saw him take the order out of a recycling bin from the other side of the road then attempt to deliver it to me!!! Absolutely disgusting service.”

  “So we have been looking for a local decent Chinese for years and hadn’t used Li’s due to some of these reviews. We finally took the chance and glad we did. Food is amazing! Sweet and sour sauce tasted fresh, very citrusy and not thick and gluey like some I’ve had. Salt and pepper prawns, very tasty. Udon noodles, yum!”

  “Ordered a takeaway Instore yesterday evening around 6:15. My boyfriend usually orders via JustEat but we were in the area so decided to pick up. The shop itself looks run down and to my surprise it had a peeling hygiene rating sticker on the door of 4/5 stars. We entered the store and ordered our regular order/s from the counter that remains behind covid shielding plastic, we had to speak around the side of it as the gentleman serving couldn’t hear us. We were given a 10 minute wait time which seemed very reasonable for the amount of food we ordered. The shop appeared untidy and unclean, cobwebs and damp on ceiling tiles. It’s as if Li’s Chinese mostly operates for online takeaway purposes as I feel if you were to make the mistake of picking up you’d almost certainly change to another local Chinese takeaway. Our food itself although was hot did not have any real flavour or substance to it. The food was bland, chicken balls barely any chicken, noodles no flavour, my boyfriend insists this is the only Chinese nearby that sells ‘Thai special fried rice’ and is the reason he continues to return. The takeaways portion size is alright but I’m 100% certain there are better local takeaways near by. We will not be returning/reordering from here despite my boyfriend’s desire for Thai special fried rice, I’m actually shocked at how poor the quality was considering our £30+ order. Save your money and order elsewhere. :(”

  “Ordered for a delivery but being Saturday was a long wait so walked up to collect. It was ready and waiting when we arrived. Got it home to it still being piping hot and absolutely delicious!! Not greasy nor fatty, just loads of flavour and tasty! Thank you!”

  “Ordered for the first time last night - the staff and delivery driver were very nice. The food arrived hot but extremely bland, no flavour at all. We got sweet &sour chicken, egg fried rise , chicken chow main, Korean wings, spring rolls and curry sauce. The only nice thing out of the whole order was the curry sauce. Would not recommend.”
