Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most praise, with reviewers naming a bacon bap, perfectly done toast and a decent latte. The Harry Ramsden's fish and chips comes close behind, one diner saying it tastes just like the restaurant on holiday. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and helpful, and a few mention table service and a calm atmosphere. The criticism is substantial. One reviewer found a jacket potato with barely any cheese and beans, and says a staff member's filthy apron put them off the meal. Another saw one person serving everybody, with food that felt rushed. A third describes a server stacking chairs on tables well before closing. Others want more vegetarian choice beyond breakfasts, more than one size of fish, and proper condiment containers instead of sachets. One reviewer points out that ordering on the app avoids the queue, and another was given complimentary ice to keep their drinks cool.

“Went there at 2.30 pm, looked they were about to close. Server was noisily putting chairs on tables, 90 mins before closing. Shepherding people into an ever smaller space. More interested in getting home bang on time than serving people. Poor atmosphere. Plenty of choice for coffee, won’t go again!”

“Very disappointed with the food quality and taste Ordered jacket potato’s with cheese and beans, small amount of beans and cheese was barely existent A member of staff bringing out food wore the filthiest apron I have ever seen in a restaurant and this put us off our meal We will not be returning”

“One person serving everybody, no other staff in site. Food not prepped nicely too rushed,. Lovely area with a view spoilt by poor working conditions and lack of enthusiasm by the staff, poor management and I guess poor pay.”

“Our Hinckley Restaurant Hub is a spacious, open area with comfy booth seating, delicious food and a lovely team! You’ll find us by the checkouts in Sainsbury’s Superstore so when you’ve finished your shopping, why not pop in for a slice of cake and a delicious Italian coffee from Caffe Carluccio’s. If you’re feeling a bit more peckish, we have a variety of meals from Ed’s Easy Diner and Harry Ramsden’s. From Ed’s you can get delicious breakfast or maybe it’s Harry Ramsden’s world famous fish and chips that you fancy. Perfect for groups and families with different tastes!”
