Quick info
About The Windsor Sandwich Bar
The Windsor Sandwich Bar is a sandwich shop and fast food restaurant at 33a Marlow Rd in High Wycombe, with a 117-item menu that spans Indian nibbles and Thai curries. The Bombay sandwich represents the Indian side, and the Thai dishes include a beef panang curry. Baguettes, rolls and sandwiches come with a wide variety of fillings, from Cheese & Pickle to a Mexican chicken option, and a salad bar sits alongside them. Breakfast rolls are filled with bacon, sausage and egg. Toasties and omelettes are made to order, with extras such as green chilli, onions and avocado. Orders can be customised, so sandwiches are made to the customer's preference. The shop is open Monday to Saturday, daytime only, and closed on Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
The complaints concern consistency and hygiene. One regular found a breakfast roll with two small bacon pieces and one sausage, and had to return for forgotten bacon. A reviewer reports a worker reheating cooked sausages and putting one back for the next customer, and another says staff handled money then made food without washing hands. One says quality slipped after a change of ownership, with cold food and misunderstood orders. Even so, one reviewer notes the shop has run since 1998.

“Fabulous . There is so much choice it makes it difficult. The samosas are above restaurant quality and the other Indian nibbles are fantastic. The Bombay sandwich is a must try .... you won't be disappointed. Unless they run out .... Fabulous many thanks They have now added Thai to their menu... beef panang curry is amazing now absolutely confused on what to have Thai currys and other dishes as they change or the Indian nibbles and the Bombay Sandwich..... along with the usual sandwiches etc ...I used to be indecisive and now totally spur of the moment. Fabulous all round brilliant Team always smiling Biggest thank you Excellent”

“Hands down the best breakfast I've had in a long time, ate the first toastie so quickly it didn't make it to the picture 😂! The staff are so professional and friendly knew all the right questions to ask to find out what food I fancied- even told me I can have something off menu to my liking. I got an omelette made and was asked if I wanted green chilli and onions (which I did) I asked to add avocado into a grilled toastie and my word was it delicious. Tasted homemade 😍 So clean, quick, fresh, delicious - absolute gem, you can tell why they've been running since 1998!”
