“Staying outside Haverfordwest we past the Glen inn and saw the kids playground, which was the push for us to go there. Firstly the kids playground is really good for the kids, sturdy and extremely safe, the pub has got a great feel when you walk in and the welcome was really friendly. As we were eating we went into a large side room and the waitress came over with menus and some activities for the children, and the waitress interacted with them which you could see made them really at ease. We all ordered and when the food arrived it looked amazing as well as plentiful, the fish was enormous, crispy batter and soft flavoursome flaky fish inside, the pie was sturdy, full of tasty meat with a good jug of gravy, the chips are probably the best pub chips we have ever had. The kids meals were also impressive, great pizza and proper home cooked chicken nuggets, which were both fully eaten ( eating everything is normally unheard of…😂). We shared a dessert and the baileys profiteroles were really good, with a large chocolate brownie being shared by the children was completely devoured. All this was such a good end to our time away….. but then the Glen Inn (Sue),went that little bit further and her kindness made a little girl so happy, we can’t thank you enough for how you managed that situation with the Claw Machine, and a 5 year old will never forget your kindness. So overall, great food, great value, great for kids, great outdoor space and super great staff.”

“Came here on a Wednesday lunch time. Received a lovely, warm welcome, ate very tasty food and felt looked after. We asked for some water for our dog and that was no problem. The menu is comprehensive and has a few vegetarian options. Would definitely come here again.”
