Customer Review Summary

The hash browns are what reviewers return for most, praised as crispy outside and hot and buttery inside, with parmesan and truffle mayo versions mentioned and a few asking for new flavours. Close behind are the pulled pork bun, described as sweet and smoky with crispy onions, and the eggs benedict, with a hollandaise and runny, jammy eggs that one reviewer calls the best from any cafe. The signature scrambled eggs and sweet treats also earn mentions. On the drink side, diners name an oat vanilla flat white with latte art, a cortado, a chai latte, and a matcha latte. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and smiley, and the music and busy, relaxed vibe come up often. The one complaint is distance, as a couple of reviewers live too far to visit regularly, though one drives about half an hour anyway. One family also notes a clean toilet and a short walk from the car park, and a Monday visit still found the place full with a single table left for two.

“The food was extremely delicious, one of the best brunches in UK for me so far. I was amazed by the lady who served me. She was attentive, kind and polite. This cafe is busy for a reason, but the stuff will find you a place no matter. You have to try a pulled pork burger and hashbrown with parmesan, it’s out of this world. The matcha late is perfectly blended.”

“The second time I’ve visited Havant, the second time heading to Ethos, and the second time I’ve been blown away with how good that hash brown is - that is outrageous! Staff were incredibly friendly, food outstanding and tunes just right - cannot recommend this place more. (Would also recommend the sweet treats to grab for a few hours later when you start getting peckish again, they were on par with the hash browns and the rest of the brunch.)”

“If somewhere is always busy, it must be good. Thought being a Monday it might be quieter, but nope, still busy. Luckily there was one table left for 2. Really nice atmosphere, super happy, freindly and attentive staff and as for the food....wow, absolutely delicious! A lovely range of brunch dishes, something for everyone without the menu being overwhelming. Wholesome, perfectly cooked, so very tasty and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.”

“Popped into Ethos today with my husband and honestly – what a vibe. The place has this cool hipster / Woodstock feel, really relaxed and a bit different from the usual cafés. We had their signature hashbrowns and they were absolutely banging. Seriously good. The coffee was spot on too. Massive shoutout to the staff – super friendly, polite and actually funny (which you don’t see that often). The whole team made the place feel really welcoming and easy to enjoy. We had such a lovely time and will definitely be back, even though it’s about a 30-minute drive for us. And if you ever drop new hashbrown flavours… we’ll be there straight away to try them!”

“Me and my boyfriend come here once a week at least and the food never misses. Everything is so delicious! I was actually speechless the first time I had the eggs benedict because it was that good. Coffee is always brilliant, I get an oat vanilla flat white and its truly impressive the art they can put on my drink considering its oat. I recommend this place to literally everyone I speak to. Food is 10/10! Coffee always 10/10! And the service is truly unbeatable! All of the staff are so lovely, thank you so much for being a part of our weekly routine guys! We love you! ❤️❤️”
