  “Ordered tonight as my usual go to place is closed for holidays in the middle of asking how long roughly for delivery the lady put the phone down I rang bk to ask the question she informed me she wasnt the delivery driver and put the phone down again 9 mins from placing order they were at my door even the driver said had complaints wont be going there again crispy won tons were just crispy very little filling”

  “I have bought from them 3 times now and the service is better in person than on the phone. The lady was very rude on the phone, i felt like hanging up the phone , but i didn't know any other Chinese as I am new in the area. Otherwise the food is not bad”

  “I have been ordering food from Golden gate for the last 12 years and never had a bad experience. The food is always hot, tasty, on time and reasonably priced. The person taking the order to the person delivering it are always very polite . Not sure how and why people have given bad reviews.”

  “If you're hungry and hunting for something of real quality, this is your sort of place. The food is absolutely top-notch in quality, cooked with loving care and delivered with friendly courtesy. Our family has real problems agreeing on dining out or getting takeaway, but this is always a solution that leaves everyone happy and satisfied!”

  “This our regular Chinese and we always enjoy the food. We tend to buy our favourite dishes most times but have tried new things and they are always high quality and tasty. It’s worth travelling across Harrogate to get!”

  “Been mine and my partners regular Chinese for over a year now - order at least once a fortnight. Lady on the phone always answers even when customers are in store and asks you to wait a moment, so your calls always get answered and you aren't spamming with calls if they're busy in store. Whenever I go to pick up, there's always at least another person in store or the phone ringing - clearly busy which speaks for itself! Always accomodating to mine and my partners alterations (chicken in chilli and garlic sauce, only broccoli for veg, chicken kung po with extra sauce, soft noodles no veg). Decently priced, always piping hot whether delivered or picked up. Fully recommend Golden Gate for Chinese takeaway.”

  “Amazing food. We had crispy chicken kung po lemon chicken soft noodles fried rice and chips. Really flavoursome. I think this might be my favourite takeaway now. As you can tell by the empty plates I think the family agrees.”
