Customer Review Summary

The Philly cheese steak and steak sandwich draw repeated praise, with reviewers also singling out the chicken curry half and half, homemade onion rings, Cajun chicken enchilada, and macaroni as generous, well cooked plates, and several describe attentive staff and big portions worth returning for. Close behind, dessert service comes up often as a weak point: multiple diners describe long waits, one recounting 35 minutes for sundaes before being rushed out as the table was needed. Others report sticky tables, cold plates, and slow orders being missed entirely. A few mains disappointed too, with one reviewer's chicken satay called dry and runny and another's Thai noodles described as over seasoned and too spicy. One diner reports a Philly cheese steak that was inedibly spicy, leading to a dispute over a partial refund and an unexplained extra charge, and a separate reviewer describes a birthday booking where the kitchen closed early despite a prior phone agreement. Against this, most reviews describe warm, attentive service and plentiful food, with several saying they would return and one crediting a wedding anniversary visit with an excellent meal delivered on a voucher.

“First of all, service staff where very good but the food was not unfortunately. I had the chicken satay and my partner had the Thai noodles. The chicken satay was okay but the chicken was dry and the sauce was runny. The Thai noodles was not good at all. Incredibly over seasoned, dry and very spicy. On top of that they need to clean the tables. They where sticky. They need a good clean.”

“Food was fantastic Great friendly service Only down side sticky tables not enough to keep us away”

“The food was bland and too much for the size of portions you get. The battered chicken goujons were £10.95 but the amount you get is nowhere near enough for a meal. After being asked if I wanted a dessert I proceeded to say yes then looked down at the menu and the waiter walks away. Everyone else was ordering in this moment and I was the last one to order so it is not as if the waiter had to get an order from someone else at my table. Also the tables are sticky and horrible to touch. The straws in the drinks were far too weak and kept breaking. Would prefer to not return again.”
