Customer Review Summary
Reviewers are sharply split, and the beef curry draws the warmest praise, described as piping hot with tons of beef, chunky onions and huge mushrooms, while another diner also enjoyed it. Close behind, a visitor staying nearby calls it the best Chinese in a very long time and praises the flavours and portions, and one reviewer mentions a polite woman in the shop. One delivery is said to have arrived sooner than quoted. The complaints are more numerous, though. Chicken chow mein is the most repeated target, with three reviewers describing the chicken on top as slimy, pale and jelly-textured. Others report chicken balls dripping in oil and soggy, prawn toast with no sign of prawn, prawn crackers tasting of chemicals, burnt crispy chilli beef, soggy salt and pepper chips, and chips so tough they went in the bin. A few mention waits on online orders, a phone left unattended, and delivery charges beyond the listed price. One longtime customer, after a lukewarm order, was sent a bag of cauliflower-filled spring rolls marked Free.

“Just a quick meal, Special Curry and chips. I could tolerate the sparse curry content BUT the well over cooked chips were so "tough" they were totally inedible and quickly went in the bin. I tell myself not to use this takeaway but thought I'd give it a chance....wasted money again.”

“I love Chinese but hadn't had one in ages, I decided to give Wing Wah a go and I've had the best beef curry in ages, tons of beef, chunky onions and huge mushrooms and delivered to Hucclecote piping hot”

“Food was vile. Could not eat it and over priced. Chips were dry. The chicken chow mein was the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered over £100 in food with a party of people and very disappointed. The chicken was slimy and I couldn’t eat it.”
