About Rasoi Indian Restaurant & Delhi Express
Rasoi Indian Restaurant & Delhi Express is an Indian restaurant at 20 Millersneuk Rd in Glasgow, and it grew out of Delhi Express, which two brothers launched in 1995. They later took over the bakery in the Millersneuk precinct and turned it into this restaurant and deli. The kitchen cooks lamb rogan josh and a chicken tikka sizzler, and it also serves South Indian garlic chilli chicken for diners who want something beyond the usual Indian dishes. The restaurant is open daily, evenings only. The brothers planned the space for the people of Lenzie and East Dunbartonshire.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the curries and their authentic flavours, with the murgh lababdar called a highlight, and the lamb rogan josh described as creamy and lightly spiced with tender meat. Close behind are the chicken tikka main and a South Indian garlic chilli chicken, both called great value, along with friendly service and a modern dining room. One reviewer says the quality of the ingredients stands out, though another notes flavours can vary and sometimes run spicier than expected. A few find it slightly expensive but say the quality makes up for it. The complaints are sharper on takeaway and during a busy festive evening. One diner waited a long time for starters, one of which arrived freezing and was sent back, and the chicken tikka sizzler sauce was called bland and watery. Two takeaway reviewers describe watery, tasteless sauces in a pasanda and a karahi, and pakora that was rock hard, burnt or reheated. One diner who ordered a garlic naan was given a plain one, and the kitchen replaced it after being told.

“Best curries in the north of Glasgow. Murgh lababdar is a highlight. Slightly on the expensive side compared to other Indian restaurants but the quality makes up for that.”

“I’m so glad to have Rasoi as our local Indian restaurant — they’re top notch. Great service, great people, and genuinely great food. The quality of their ingredients really stands out, especially compared to a lot of other Indian restaurants. My only slight criticism is that there can be some variation in the flavours from time to time — possibly down to different chefs. It’s not always completely consistent (sometimes a bit spicier than expected), but it’s always delicious nonetheless.”

“Watery tasteless chicken tikka Pasanda I know it’s a mild dish but this had no taste and the sauce was just water . It was cold and the pakora was rock hard and chewy .”

“Pravesh & Rahul Randev first experimented with Indian cuisine in 1995 with the launch of Delhi Express. This grew from strength to strength and founded a sound reputation for quality and value in the local area all thanks to Mrs Randev and her traditional home cooked dishes. A few years later the brothers acquired the bakery in Millersneuk Shopping precinct with the vision to open a modern Indian restaurant and deli for the people of Lenzie and East Dunbartonshire.”
