Customer Review Summary
Home delivery draws the sharpest complaints. One reviewer received a chicken korma instead of a vegetarian Mughlai Korma, then a standard coconut korma on a second order, and warns of the risk for allergies. Another found the peshwari naan hard and dried up, and a third says the food tasted off and went in the bin, then reports being told they had simply picked the wrong dish when they called. One reviewer calls the dining room very quiet, and the corrected curry was resent after a phone call.

“I have ordered from this place twice now for home delivery and I am afraid both times they got the order wrong. There won't be a third attempt. First time, a vegetable Mughlai Korma was ordered for a vegetarian. A chicken one was sent, which was noticed after a bit of chicken had been eaten (mistaken for cauliflower). When I called to explain, the correct curry was sent out, but funnily enough the recipient didn't have the appetite. Second time, I ordered then called to ensure the vegetarian option had been noted. The food arrived incredibly quickly (suspiciously quickly) and rather than a Mughlai Korma, they had sent a standard korma full of coconut. The naan, pakora etc were great. Waste of nearly £60. Please read your orders properly. It is important and it could kill someone if there is an allergy.”

“Home delivery to our friend Morag Copeland 159 Cleveden Road Kelvindale on Monday 11th May was fine until we opened the packet with the 2 peshwari nan breads which we ordered. They were hard, dried up poor excuses for Nan breads. We have had Nan breads delivered from various restaurants but these were the worst yet.Very sneaky giving a home delivery which would be immediately rejected in the restaurant!”

“Used to come here years ago and it was great, so I decided to order again as a treat. Unfortunately, the food tasted completely off this time — it was so bad it all went straight in the bin. I called up to explain the issue, but instead of any help or understanding, I was met with a really cheeky attitude and told I was “just upset because I picked the wrong thing,” which was pretty disappointing. Shame really, as it seems to have gone seriously downhill since I last ordered.”

“I’ve been a few times now and I have to say, I enjoyed dinner here. Staff were very knowable and friendly. Food has been good both in terms of quality and quantity. Very reasonably priced. Looking forward to the next visit.”
