Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the salt and chilli chicken and chips as standouts, with multiple reviews calling the dish rather lovely or the best they have tasted. The curry sauce earns frequent mention, praised for its balance between thickness and runniness, though one reviewer found it too thick and another described it as lumpy. Praise for the food is matched by consistent notes on good value, generous portions, and a spotless interior, with several highlighting the willingness to personalise meals. Negative experiences centre on specific dishes: one reviewer reports chicken maryland as thin and tasteless, another describes burnt fried rice and brick-hard salt and chilli chips, and a third notes thin prawn crackers that break easily. One diner also criticises small portion sizes for the price. Several return for the salt and chilli chicken and the friendly phone service.

“Great food and service, however curry sauce just bit too thick for my liking”

“Food is tasty and service is great. Far more reasonably priced than some other local Chinese takeaways. We have had a few meals from here and so far they have all been good. They are always happy to change or personalise a meal too. Only slight negative I have found is the prawn crackers are a little thin so difficult to use to scoop up your rice as they break easily.”

“ordered chicken maryland big mistake chicken pounded to thickness of sheet of paper,no taste of chicken only breadcrumb. £8.50 for bin first and last order,”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
