  “New to the area and thought we'd try out this as the closest spot for food. If food is available here, you'd never know it. Stepped in to the smell of cigarettes and found a fairly populated place, yet not a single person eating at 17:30 on a Sunday. No menus, or literally anything at all on the empty tables, so presumably should you want to eat, you'd need to wedge your way in past the packed bar hoping to get someone's attention just to get a menu. Atmosphere of a sports bar. We didn't particularly fancy trying to order at a place that by all signs doesn't want you to, so we upped and left. Had we stayed, we'd have had to endure multiple TVs playing the football, because apparently it's assumed that everyone wants to have to listen to that regardless of where you sit. Wanted to like this place but at least when we went, it felt very off. If you want a drink while you watch the football, it's probably an okay spot. For anything else, I wouldn't bother.”

  “Pubs open, cracking staff who really look after you. New menu is fantastic, loved the psychedelic burger. Burger menu has so many gallus options too :) The sharing nachos are a lot for £10!!!”

  “Food - salt n chilli burger with cheese. Waited half an hour for it and I think it was being cooked for the full half an hour. Rock solid and burnt. Staff never seemed bothered - took the plate away (as seen in photo) with no care in the world that I left the burger uneaten. So £10 for chips and onion rings. The table ordered 7 mains and while I waited half an hour, 2 in the table waited for over an hour. Why aren't plates being sent out when all food is ready? Service - like I said , staff never seemed bothered with the burger. And the wait. But the bar staff were pleasant enough. Atmosphere - busy place. Not much else to say. To the reply - thanks for the reply. Yes it was in 3 different orders but they all said table 1. I doubt I'll be back as the pub is a little bit out the way for me and I was only there due to it being someone's birthday. And tbh, the chef should be bake to see that the burger was burnt and solid and they still sent it out like this.”

  “First time in the place and I'm pleasantly surprised. Food was much better than I expected. Steak pie was actually really good. Mash tatties I liked even though I don't normally like them. I got the macaroni cheese that was supposed to be bacon crusted whatever that means but there was no sign of any bacon. Best not say it on the menu if its not in the dish. But overall we as a couple in our 40s had a great day . Will defo be back again.”
