  “visited yesterday (25/08/2026) got our starters before our drinks. food was okay, lots of GF options. pasta was overcooked but tasty, pizza very nice. service was very slow as there was only 2 waitresses working doing serving, taking orders, pouring drinks & clearing tables. There should have been at least 2 more people maybe 1 doing drinks & 1 more server. the girls were doing their best and were obviously stressed so felt so bad for them!”

  “I visited the restaurant after a busy day but was delighted when I was served by Ellie. She was very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed (and maybe a few starters i didn't know I needed) I would return to the restaurant again for the service alone. All other members of staff were friendly and always gave a lovely smile when they walked past.”

  “Weekday lunch with a friend Very quiet. Food was tasty and reasonably priced - with Bluelight card. Staff seemed to be narrowly focussed on their daily tasks opposed to attention of customers in dining area. Nice atmosphere otherwise and clean.”

  “Went into Bella Italian Hempstead today and was served by Tracey. Her bubbly, kind and upbeat attitude really made my experience truly incredible, we need more Tracey’s in this world! The food was absolutely delicious and I would 100% recommend anyone to come and enjoy the food aswell as the kind staff and incredible atmosphere.”

  “We’ve visited Bella Italia for many different occasions and love the food, the atmosphere and have always found it reasonably priced. We came today for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Our server Tracey was very friendly and helpful, even when it got extremely busy. Would highly recommend for couples and families.”

  “Tracey our server was absolutely brilliant! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She even listened to endless stories from my 6yr old! The food was delicious too, served piping hot and quickly. We eat here regularly and have always had brilliant experiences.”

  “Had a lovely meal here with our 3 Yr old granddaughter. Staff were very friendly and didn't rush us. Good portion sizes and very tasty meals. Lovely drinks selection. Casual atmosphere not too busy. Chicken and mushroom creamy pasta dish was lovely and seafood spaghetti. Good child size meals with lots of choice.”

  “I made a group booking 12 days in advance. A few people in the group then did not attend, which turned out to be fortunate as the restaurant said they didn't have room for us, despite making a reservation in advance. They offered to separate us on different tables and instead we made space elsewhere by bringing tables together so we could sit together. Had all of us attended as per the booking number then this would have been even trickier. There did not seem to be enough wait staff for the volume of customers. The waitress we had was not friendly or polite, which may be partly due to how busy the restaurant was. A few members of the group ordered starters and asked for them to be brought out with the mains. This did not happen. There was about a 50 minute wait for food from the time of ordering. Personally I enjoyed the size and taste of my meal when it arrived, but that is the only positive comment I can make on my experience. On the bill there was a significant price difference between two of the exact same main (the cheaper price was the correct one), which was identified by us and then rectified by the staff. We overheard another table have the same issue. Based on this experience and another poor one the only other time I visited this restaurant a few years ago, I would not be interested in returning.”

  “Terrible value & food quality. I’ve been to many Bella’s and this was appalling. Service was slow and waited too long to be seated. Restaurant was half empty.”

  “The food here is absolutely delicious 😋! I would go here every day if I could and wants me to rate it a 6 star if it were possible, the service was faster then I expected, although I'd still be fine if it were longer since the food was definitely worth the wait, atmosphere is really good as well with Italian decorations on the wall and i do believe there is music, everything about this place is perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone”
