Quick info
About Master Brewer
The Master Brewer sits on Perries Mead in Folkestone as a pub and restaurant with a bar that looks out over a large garden framed by trees. The kitchen runs Sunday roasts, slow-cooked ribs with chips and homemade coleslaw, and a steak night built around steak and onion rings, while the owner prepares pies such as mince beef and onion on request with notice. The car park out back is flat and quiet, tucked into a housing estate and used for motorhome and campervan stopovers, including overnight stays, and the pub sits about ten minutes from Le Shuttle and the Channel Tunnel. A small shop sits across the road, dogs are welcomed and given treats, and the room takes walk-ins throughout the week.

“This should be a busy car park but it wasn’t . We were very happy with the quiet car park and the location. Little shop just across the road. Lovely bar overlooking a large garden with trees. The lovely lady was very welcoming and the people were very friendly. We will be returning when we come back from France.”

“Booked to stop over in the car park and ordered 2 Sunday roasts which were absolutely fantastic. It’s 10 minutes away from Le Shuttle so very handy. Car park is flat and hidden in a housing estate do quiet over night. Staff were amaxing and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended”

“Made very welcome when we stayed with our campervan the evening before getting the Channel Tunnel. The dog was given loads of treats and, as they weren't serving food on this evening, they helped us sort a uber eats which we ate in the pub. Will definitely return”

“We had an absolutely fantastic visit here! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we were made to feel very welcome. We were travelling in our motorhome, and they kindly allowed us to park it in their car park, which made our trip so much easier. On top of the outstanding hospitality, the food and drink were superb and represented brilliant value for money. It is also wonderfully dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus! We cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning.”
