Quick info
About Embers & Ice
Embers & Ice is a cocktail bar on West Street in Fareham, with a bar area and a separate room that has a DJ and dance floor alongside it. Cocktails anchor the drinks list, and the kitchen turns out large food portions that include a fish finger roll on the menu. Music plays throughout the venue, and the layout separates the louder, later side from the seated bar, where numbered tables and plenty of seating keep service straightforward. Its location next to Reel cinema makes it a regular stop for filmgoers looking to eat or drink before or after a screening. The format is walk-in, with the bar running evenings for cocktails, dancing and a bite to eat.

Customer Review Summary
Regulars point to the cocktails and the friendly staff as the main draws, with several returning for the food, including a noted fish finger roll. The atmosphere divides opinion, as one diner found the Saturday evening music too loud for conversation, and another mentioned a broken chair at table 13 that caught a partner's fingers. Most describe the team as helpful and polite.

“We had a lovely meal and service from the staff as usual after going to see a film at Reel. Have been a few times before and we always have good service and enjoy the food. Unfortunately as it was a Saturday evening (we've not been at this time before for food, so probably hadn't thought it through!) the music in all parts of the venue was incredibly loud, so it was impossible to have any type of conversation. We rushed our meal a little to then go and sit outside to be able to chat. We didn't want to sit and eat outside or go anywhere else to eat as we like the food, so decided put up with the music for as long as we could! Maybe thought could be given to the volume being a little lower in the bar area to give people the option to sit and chat whilst eating or just having a drink, while still allowing those that want to party to do so in the area with the DJ and dance floor? We will be back, just maybe will leave the Saturday evenings to the youngsters!!!”

“Great value cocktails which taste good and are presented nicely by friendly staff. Music wasn’t to my taste but was good for the vibe, and the place felt clean. One of the chairs at our table was broken, and my partner caught his fingers in it as he sat down (table 13).”
