About Mangos Falmouth
Mangos Falmouth is a bar at 5-7 Church St in Falmouth, built around a downstairs games room with arcade machines, a pool table, air hockey, pinball, electronic darts and shuffleboard. Friends can play a round between drinks without leaving the building. Upstairs turns into a DJ area. The drinks list is led by a long shots menu, with names and mixtures that range widely, and a cocktail menu runs alongside it. Beer choice is limited and includes a straight lager. The food menu lists 92 items, among them The Mangover. Bouncers work the door, and a dress code applies.

Customer Review Summary
Downstairs games draw the most mentions: arcade machines, a pool table, air hockey, an old-school pinball machine, electronic darts and shuffleboard, with one reviewer calling it the closest thing Falmouth has to an arcade. Upstairs is described as renovated, vibrant and inviting, and is said to become a DJ area on busier evenings. Close behind are the cocktail and shot menus, along with friendly staff and quick, efficient service. A straight lager was served well, though one reviewer found the beer selection limited. The door is the sore point. A regular of eight years says the bouncers suddenly stopped letting them in for no clear reason. Others describe a dress code applied inconsistently, with one person in a scruffy hoodie and ripped jeans admitted on an 80s 90s night while others were turned away. One reviewer says the manager seems to hate every customer who comes in. Another, in a quiet bar on a Wednesday birthday, found the shot names read out like a comedian's routine.

“Manager here seems to hate every customer that comes in, avoid this place at all costs! only came once but that was already too many times! not worth the hassle! #dissapointing”

“Watched a bunch of east Asian people get turned away on a saturday night for their dress code - meanwhile I stroll in with a scruffy hoodie and ripped jeans? 80s 90s night? Do you mean 1780s? I heard the manager was racist but this is just insane. Falmouth is supposed to be diverse and accepting as a positive arts uni and she just mistreats people for their skin colour and nationality.”

“Have had a good handful of bad experiences here now, but I've seen the management be blatantly racist to customers over and over again, and its just not on. claiming they "didnt meet the dress code", while letting in anyone else with no issue. Guess the dress code is just having white skin, I take it?”

“After a long night out at 2 AM on a Saturday, I came here to unwind. I stayed downstairs and got scammed out of £1 by the pinball machine, but I had a good experience with another machine I used. This place is the closest thing Falmouth has to an arcade.”

“Been coming to this bar for 8 years, and always really enjoyed it. But, one random night, the bouncers have just decided to not let me in anymore, despite having never caused any trouble there. Could be that they’ve implemented a new no women, no entry policy, but not sure. Either way, truly bizarre to just stop letting a regular customer in for seemingly no reason. Bouncers could be unintentionally leading a Club I revival if they’re not careful”
