  “Below review was 2-3years ago. Top review is as of 2023. Over the years I hardly go into k-spice to dine, and it became frustrating to order via uber as your food will take 2hours and over to get to you and by the time it comes, you lost your appetite and food comes cold. This has happened on various occasion and even wrong order or partly cooked food. At some point I just give up on ordering from there. I visited kspice in Erith mid December just before Christmas of 2022 as I was in the area and needed something to eat. Me and my sister went in saw the waiter and was told to have our sit as we were going to dine in. We sat for 30mins and no one came to collect our order, at this point the shop was not too busy and empty sits. We called again few times and were told they are coming. I saw 3 staff going in and out of the kitchen and yet not being served. Getting to 45mins, they collected an order from another customer who just arrived after we have been sitting for 45mins. At this point we were angry and ready to leave, then the staff came by and collected our order with an excuse. Even by the time our food were served, the customer that arrived much later before me, got his food, eat and left the shop and we were just about to start eating. Their customer service was supper poor, I don't blame them, don't think the staff has training or the management care enough about customer. Funny enough, just as we were to pay and leave the shop, I saw the owner of the business coming out of the kitchen and all this while, he's been watching from cctv. SMH. I tried to have a conversation with him and just to express how I was feeling at that time and maybe it won't results in me giving this review. The owner/manager avoided me by any chance, we even have eye contact and he said he was coming. He went back into the kitchen and never came out until we left. You want no bad review or your business to flourish, but you or your team are destroying the business. I had so many friends tell me they will never order from kspice as to their food is this or that but I always says no, it's not happened to me, have had okay experience etc. Now I believe them, like I said it's not just this incident, few other experiences with this establishment hence I have had enough. You can't have my good reviews from the past and continue to operate badly. Do well and do better. I left my old review below as to not totally say it's all bad. I still believe changes. _________________________________________ K-spice is the best african restaurant in erith There food is well cooked and closed to home cooking. Am a chef so i know when a food taste really good.. I love coming to buy from there because i trust the cooking and i know i won't be disappointed by taste or flavour but sometimes it's not the same.. I love them because their portion for food is reasonable, you can eat and you will be satisfied. Their price for food is affordable and reasonable. They have variety of food that you can enjoy. They respect their customer, good people skills. Good communication is ther but sometimes it's off depending on who you are talking to.. You won't regret eating\buying food from here. The environment is clean and tidy, spacious. You will enjoy latest music from afrobeat to hip hop.. If you into news/football, there is a big screen to watch it from. I would reccomend you call to order and pick-up. Walk-ins to eat.. If you do online delivery, you should have extra patience to wait for your food because sometimes it takes a lot of time before your food can be delivered.. It could be the shop or delivery service.. My favourite food to order: mash beans and platain, egusi soup and pounded yam with assorted meat, makerel fish, ogbono soup and pounded yam..”

  “I had a great experience at K Spice! I ordered the catfish pepper soup — the portion was generous and well-prepared. After receiving my order, I called to mention that the spice level wasn’t quite to my taste. The gentleman who took my order was extremely patient and immediately offered to replace it without any hesitation. It’s rare to find such excellent customer service at African restaurants. I’ll definitely be recommending K Spice and will be returning for more orders!”
