About Beirut City Lebanese
Beirut City Lebanese is a family-run Lebanese restaurant in Bexleyheath, at 222 Broadway, where a father and son work alongside each other. Meals open with a free small lentil soup, and hummus comes to the table without needing to be ordered. The Beirut City Special is a platter for four, so a table of friends or family can share one order. The hot mixed starter is sized for two, and the mixed grills include a chicken mix grill. Inside, large seating areas fill the dining room while Lebanese music plays. The restaurant is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the Beirut City platter and the mixed starters, with the hot mixed starter and the Beirut City Special singled out as well. Diners describe fresh, well cooked meat, big portions and a family-run feel, and a kid's lamb shish, a sea bass and a chicken mix grill also get named. Several mention a free small lentil soup at the start of the meal, and others call the staff friendly and the prices reasonable. The inside is described as beautiful, with authentically Lebanese music, though one reviewer says the entrance looks like an ordinary grill house. Complaints are small but specific: the chicken wings wanted more spice, a sticky glass was replaced, only two of five requested teas arrived at first, and the food went cold because the portions were so large. One reviewer calls the service third-class, says the staff were argumentative and the children were not treated well, and found the food not that tasty. Several note the place is quiet early and gets busier after 6pm.

“The service at the restaurant was third-class. They didn’t treat the children well either. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food wasn’t that tasty, and the staff were argumentative and seemed to pick fights. I strongly recommend that nobody go to this restaurant.”

“We used to order takeaways; this time, 6 of us had dinner in the restaurant. The food was fresh, tasty and a good portion. We can see this family worked very hard. The service was good, and they provided us with free soup to start. We will definitely come back again and recommend it to family and friends. Thank you so much!”

“Great vibes and perfect for families, with huge and comfortable seating areas. They welcomed me with warm soup on a very cold day, which was very thoughtful. The food was fresh, a bit spicy but nice, and the portions were big. Prices were reasonable, service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try delicious Lebanese cuisine!”
