“It was our first time here today at Cobbs. The food was delicious, the cappuccino was lovely (our daughter ate the crust which is a credit to the place) Good selection of cakes and scones which was very nice as well. The service was a little bit slow which we were made aware of but it was worth the wait. Overall a new favourite for a meal out.”

“Slow service for breakfast. When you approach the counter there's a sign saying "Exact change only or card payment" which is a pettily passive aggressive way of refusing cash. Even though they had a full menu board they were only doing breakfast rolls because they said they didn't have a chef, it was "..just one of us.." in the kitchen. My wife asked for toast with scrambled eggs, beans and mushrooms. They had no beans and couldn't cook mushrooms, so she ended up with eggs on toast. I asked what was available and was told only rolls. I asked what I could get on a roll and was told anything on the menu. I replied asking if they were really saying that they could cook all the breakfast products and put them on a roll but not on a plate. The response was a shrugged, yes. The girl who brought the tea and coffee was surly. Poor service, poor attitude. My first time here, my wife comes here now and again, but after today neither of us will be back.”
