  “I give the West House 3 stars as with all other restaurants we have frequented recently, there have been dogs allowed. Today, a dog was brought in to west house and sat on the bench with the owners. It began to scratch fiercely which makes me wonder what the next customer might catch. There should be in ALL cafes / restaurants a separate area for those with dogs. Would it be convenient for me to bring my 8 golden retrievers in or my daughter with her 3 collies, how would customers like that? It’s too easy nowadays to allow patrons in with the excuse of having “an assistance dog” What can that dog assist with? Guide dogs yes as they are extremely well trained. The food and the service was excellent but I’m running out of eateries now due to this rediculousness! We won’t be back.”

  “We had a delicious breakfast on Monday morning The two salmon and spinach omelettes were amazing and soup of the day too! The staff who served us on that day were very nice and kind, the whole team deserves a raise!”

  “Was in here when the dance event in Dundee was on only in for 10 minutes place was rammed of people very busy. Great place bouncing of energy was very hot too great drinks on tap. I've also been in here for food for birthday dinner with family member ordered bruschetta to start with and pastas for main course waited 30 odd minutes for starter which was really nice thrn got our main courses which was the pasta one I had was okay but still a bit spicy as I orederd a spicy pasta and didn't know until I asked when ordering just to make sure if it was or not and they said they can make it less spicy and remove the chillies. Other pasta I tried and was nice too. Had ice cream with chocolate sauce for dessert whach was great as well. For the price think it was a bit much but was okay meal.”

  “we were told to wait 20min for the table, after 20mins they said it’s another 20min. then we waited 40min for the food. to compensate for the wait the waitress suggested we order more drinks:/ after all of that the food was burnt. half the potatoes were raw as well.”
